Another enjoyable book from Andy Hamilton, I have been a brewer for around 20 years now but I still found things that I will do to help further my beer brewing. There is quite a bit of heft to this guide and both beginners and veterans should find something to benefit their brewing. It's not too heavy on recipes, there is enough variety to try and some good reviews of beers that stood out for the author. Quite an extensive directory, I had a quick flick through and there is some good sources here, may be a tad out of date but otherwise an excellent work of reference.

There is also a good section on growing hops, herbs and your own barley . Along with general tips on composting, malting barley and drying hops.
