Interesting book. But the amount of typos threw me off more than I care to admit. It’s a translation, but please read a book before publishing it. Thanks.

Mayan culture came to my attention with 2012 fiasco, where many were predicting the end of the world because the Mayan calendar was running out. I learned a lot of new things. I wasn't aware that traditional Mayan believe that men came from corn at the hands of divine creators. No doubt they saw corn farming as a sacred practice like holy water to Catholics.
