The other book is The Inform Recipe Book, a comprehensive collection of examples, showing its practical use. If you are reading this within the Inform application, you will see that the Writing with Inform pages are on "white paper", while the Recipe Book is on "yellow paper".

Don't have much to say about the book itself. Comprehensive guide indeed. You can easily write something cool simply by following the book and your imagination.
On a side note about Inform, I probably would recommend it in case if you are about to write fancy text adventure. But if you are looking to create something on a simpler side of a spectrum, consider taking look at some other instruments available on market.
