Brianna’s Navy SEAL serves as a bridge from my straight contemporary romances to my action-adventure romances. Because even though Brianna overcame her need for adventure before this book started…well, it manages to find her anyway.

Natalie J. Damschroder hasn't done anything remotely worthy of bio documentation in a very long time, unless you count making up the romantic adventures that her characters live out in her books. Brianna is a risk taker, a adventure seeker until the world changed her mind.
cable is a sexy school teacher who also happens to be ex-navy and gave up seeking adventure, cause it got him in trouble.
cable and Brianna meet a there are sparks, cable is everything she could want, only he lacking adventure. when these take a chance old enemies resurface and Brianna isn't sure love is worth the risk, is willing to take the adventure. 4 out of 5.

Liked this fine, but wanted to like it better. Ultimately, it seemed vert disjointed to me, with the on and off relationship and the confusing and sometimes contradictory reasons the hero and heroine keep expressing. Since Real Life is often disjointed, confusing and contradictory, I am ok with that idea, but just didn't enjoy the way it was implemented in this one.
Still it was not a bad read and I particularly liked how one non-sympathetic character wound up doing the right thing.
