Insightful and encouraging

I liked her "step by step" approach and her honesty with the good the bad and the ugly truths as she's discovered them in her experience from start to finish in her book writing journey. I can't, at this point, think of anything I didn't like about this book. In my opinion it is a well written, educational and honest interpretation of her years of experience. It was a fast easy read with the specific information I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to write their first book and even to someone who's already written some books and could benefit and incorporate a different approach with some of her suggestions. Being a "newbie" any inspiration, positivity, knowledgeable information and encouragement is greatly appreciated! Thank you for sharing your opinions and insight!

Practical Advice

Practical advice for starting and finishing a manuscript. Wasn't expecting self publishing advice but it was valuable. Recommend this read for anyone needing direction or who has been procrastinating on their writing journey. Best tip - commit to writing.

Nothing new

There is nothing in this book that hasn't been done better elsewhere. While the writer has good intent, the delivery suffers from being dry and boring.

Low-value information reads more like an elongated blog post in a folksy style that comes off as bragging and cliche.
