My Wicked Stepsister

Rate this book
Synopsis

My wicked stepsister—a tale of lust, seduction and surrender.

Drew Reynolds was the most beautiful woman in the world to me. We grew up together, and I’ve watched out for her since we were children. She was the Hollywood “It” Girl—flirty, outrageous, and always in trouble.
I’ve been her protector, her rock, her savior. I also happened to be her stepbrother, and completely infatuated with her.

Growing up in Hollywood, we’ve always had an unconventional family. Nothing is ever as it seems. When the lines between reality and fantasy become blurred, what’s a guy to do?
Should I push aside my feelings of desire or cross a line I’m not sure either one of us can come back from?

Warning: This is a smutty taboo tale, if it’s not your thing, don’t one-click!

I wanted to read a book out of my comfort zone, at least one this year.

I chose this taboo subject line between step sister and step sister.
If you look at actual real life statistics this happens more than anyone realises.

He’s attracted to his step sister.

When a weekend away is planned......
Let’s see if it got hot to hotter to scorching

This story was a quick and promising read.
This is about the love between step-siblings. You get the taboo atmosphere of the genre, the forbidden, the naughty. I was very excited to read this, but unfortunately I felt like something was missing.
The intro into the story was quite abrupt for me. I felt like I didn't get to know the characters and for a novella, you have to feel connected with the heroes pretty quickly because it falls flat otherwise.
It was fast paced and the writing wasn't bad at all. I just missed the connection, the chemistry between our two heroes. Their actions seemed a bit reckless to me but I did like the ending.
Promising stepbrother romance, but I was disappointed by the execution.

3 Stars from me.

I do enjoy the odd short story. Sometimes after reading quite a few big books I like a little short one for something different. I thought this was an ideal quickie before bed.

Liam has fancied his step sister Drew for quite a while. Will their relationship change when they get a weekend away?

An enjoyable quick taboo read.

To start things off, I actually loved this book. The blurb states that it is smutty taboo, but I found it to be very likeable.
Okay the two main characters are step-siblings, but the authors style of writing did not make it seem dirty or forbidden for them to be together.
Drew Reynolds is the daughter of a famous Hollywood movie producer - she's "daddy's little girl". She pampered, spoilt and gets everything she ever needs.
William (Will/Liam) is her stepbrother, who idolises her, is her protector, but also can see that she is 100 percent spoilt. But he has one problem - a fatal attraction to Drew.
A secret weekend away together, allows both of them to realise that their feelings are more than that of a brother and sister.
T.S. Irons has written a great book that pulls the reader in from the very beginning. This is the first book that I have read of hers and I will be sure to read more.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
The easy writing style of the author allowed me to finish this book in under 2 hours.
Definitely worth the 5 stars I've given it.

Liam has had a crush on Drew Reynolds since she became a part of his family. Drew is famous for being famous. Her dad is a Hollywood movie producer so she is used to getting what she wants out of life. Liam is constantly getting the blonde beauty out of one scrape after another. Growing up around Hollywood’s elite has never been easy, but Drew knew how to play the role. Liam has always felt the need to protect her as her stepbrother. Somehow, along the way he became enamored with her. Liam and Drew find themselves alone together where they can explore their desire for each other and share their feeling beyond brother and sister. Will their friendship survive their growing feelings for each other?

My Wicked Stepsister is the third book I have read by author T.S. Irons. I have found that when I am in the mood for something a little more taboo and smutty T.S. Irons is the way to go. T.S. knows how to write a great, sexy, erotic tale without making it weird because they are step-siblings. For a quick read, the story was very appealing, I was interested in the characters, and I felt invested in their story.
Though the blurb states it is a smutty taboo story, I found it to be a great read and not just about, the hot sex don’t worry there is plenty of it. This author has written a fantastic story that keeps the reader interested and engaged in a short period. Definitely recommend if you enjoy the genre.

This is considered a forbidden love story.

She was the spoiled Hollywood girl always breaking the rules while trying to get attention as she attracts trouble wherever she goes. All she really wanted is the attention of her father.

He is her stepbrother who has always protected her. He has always been there for her and is infatuated with her.

One weekend together was about to change everything.

Can they go back to be just a mixed up family or will things change between them? Will one weekend be enough for them or will they need more? Can they take their chance on love despite what people may think?

This is another interesting forbidden taboo love from the author that flows.

I don't really know what happened with this story. After reading T.S. Irons previous stories which I really liked, this one left like a let down. After finishing this book I was left unsatisfied.

The story felt rushed, the character depth was lacking for me; I was left wanting more. After a small build up at the start, the story just seemed like the characters were having sex and then there was another time lapse, and then back to sex again.

A good light taboo story. Drew and Liam are step-sister and brother. As things progress, so does their relationship. A little more depth in characters than T.S.'s book, Stepdaddy Dom. And enjoyable, hot, sexy read, but it's not a story for everyone.

A satisfying quick read…

So what do you do when you see your stepsister as more than a sister? Well, in Liam’s case, you worship her from afar until she seems to return those feelings. Then all bets are off! Drew was older than he was by a few years. What separated them more were miles of family and society attitudes to step-siblings relationships. Liam was facing college now and couldn’t ignore the opportunity to finally be with Drew even if it was only for a secret weekend. This couldn’t go well, or could it?

This was a quick, sexy and sweet read about two step-siblings who struggled to find a way to be together. Being a novella there was a lot to pack in to a few pages but the author managed to fit a well-told story in. Told from Liam’s point of view you see his youth and struggle to find a solution to a problem with seemingly few good options. Some misunderstandings and a crisis bring things to a head and an opportunity for a satisfying ending. I’ll be looking for more stories by this author.

Reviewed for Hooked on Books---2 stars!

I've read one other book by T.S. and I loved it which is why it was no big deal to offer to read this one for her. T.S. is an amazing writer and she managed to pull me in with the first book she read, but for some odd reason, this one just didn't do it for me. It felt rushed the whole time. The story-line didn't seem thought out. ..and I want to say that by thought out, it seemed like there was no depth to this story. It was rushed. It was predictable. With the predictableness, there was nothing left out that made you guess what happens next. Step-sibling books are hot right now and I love the taboo part, but it just didn't seem like there was a whole lot of taboo to this. It fell short for me. The writing in a sense of grammatical wise was well written and the book was pretty hot. Still a fan of T.S. and I can't WAIT to see what she comes up with next!

Another Hot Read
As with the other books I've read from this author, this book is a quick red hot read. Great for anyone looking to get a little smut fix. Poor Liam, he has had the hots for his spoiled little brat of a stepsister, who was always acting out because Daddy's little girl wasn't getting enough attention. Well, a little weekend away and they both get plenty of attention. From each other. But like all good things their time together had to end as time marches on. What will happen when they return to real life with family and friends and everyone else? Will things go back to the way they were before? Can Liam and Drew forget about the time they spent together? Do they want to? And if not what happens next? This was a great little read and I'll always grab a little T.S. Irons to liven up a boring summer afternoon. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Holy Hotness!! Does T.S. Irons know how to write erotic scenes, YES! YES she does!! Liam and Drew’s families have always been close; the two grew up together along with Liam’s sister Alex. When Liam’s father dies in a plane crash, his mother marries Drew’s father making the three step-siblings. Unfortunately for Liam, he has always had a crush on Drew, but now there is no way they could be together. Sure, they aren’t blood relatives. But both families are very high profile and the tabloids would make it a scandal just to make sales. What to do, what to do? I’ll tell you what to do, READ THIS BOOK!! I give it 4.5 stars with 4 hands down the pants!

Drew Reynolds is living the high life in California, attending UCLA and living with her father,step-mother and step-siblings Alex and Liam.

Liam is going to be attending Harvard but when Drew asks him to go to the beach house he can't turn her down, he never has been able to.

When both Drew and Liam realize they have feelings for each other will they act on how they feel and what will the future hold for them?

I really enjoyed this story and the twists that it took. The relationship between Drew and Liam was strong with so much against them. The jealousy that Liam had was very strong and I'm glad that Drew and Liam were able to communicate through everything.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a very enjoyable book. Liam and Drew were great characters and I really liked them. Can they turn one weekend into something to last a lifetime? Life takes you for a ride and most of the time it's not what you had planned. I loved the ending and can't wait to read more from T. S. Irons.

You know when you want to watch something, but not a full length movie and end up watching a good TV show? That is how I felt about this novella, it was short, sweet, sassy, and extremely sexy! I like that T.S. Irons touches on some naughty taboo topics, I like to read from other than the norm at times and will not be ashamed to admit it! After reading a few full length novels, I feel the need to clear my mind with a kinky novella and T.S. Irons is now one of my go to authors now!

DNF
There really isn't much character build-up so it was difficult to get a feel for Drew and Liam to begin with or sense any real chemistry between them. Still I prefer exclusive relationships so when then the H has a three-some with two prostitutes (out of a misunderstanding none the less) it became a dnf for me.

My Wicked Stepsister is very short quick read. A story of Liam and Drew who spend a weekend together, but is a weekend enough to work out those forbidden taboo feelings?

A bit predictable, but gave enough to keep you turning the pages. A few sexy moments thrown in, abit of misunderstanding and drama and we were set.
