This book was adorable. The tales were well written and very matter-of-fact. Some were a little basic even for children, I think, but all were enjoyable. I especially enjoyed how different culturally some of these were. My favorite tale was the one about the bamboo trees.

Also, the illustrations in this book are so good! Especially the beautiful full-page inserts here and there, which were just stunning. This was a really cool book.
