A perfect family!
Jax and Carter take in Eliza, a 16 yr old pregnant girl, who's parents threw her out of their house.
Considering, the two women have been trying for a year to get pregnant, they both think the same, to adopt Eliza's baby when it's born. That's if Eliza is okay with it.
What they have is a perfect family and a beautiful story!

From the moment Jax was featured briefly and flirted with Carter I just had a connection with the two characters that took hold. I just knew there was more to their stories and I wanted to read more about them.
Erica Lee has formed an amazing series around these characters and the entire Miller Cooper family that sticks with you.
This may be my favourite book in the Miller Cooper saga. The new characters bring so much to the series and elevate Carter and Jax to new heights.
I got the honour to read this as it was written and just seeing the story grow and life continue as special and a book I will return to often.

Yeah so, I absolutely love the Miller-Coopers and the biggest crime is that the series is novellas!!! I could read this series the same way I watch Greys Anatomy…over and over again to a dangerous degree.

I’ve been a fan of Erica Lee for years, and the Miller-Cooper universe holds a special place in my heart. Coming back to this family with each new release feels less like starting a new book and more like a big end-of-year catch up with people I’ve missed dearly. There’s something almost paradoxical about how normal this family feels while still managing to hold my attention through book after book, and Anything for Her definitely kept that streak alive.
For longtime readers of the series, there’s plenty to love. Lee weaves in nods to the OG Miller-Cooper clan and gives us quieter moments between characters we’ve followed for years. If you’re picking this up as a standalone, those beats might not land the same way, but for those of us who’ve been here since the beginning, they’re the reason this world keeps pulling us back. And honestly, if this is the first book you’re picking up in the series, do yourself a favor and read through some of the other books to truly experience this world to its fullest extent.
The premise (Eliza getting kicked out for getting pregnant and showing up at exactly the right time in Carter and Jax’s lives for them to take her in) could have easily felt like a stretch. Instead, it tracks with everything we already know about Jax and Carter. I didn’t always agree with their actions or the choices they made, but I *believed* them (which is the harder feat to pull off in my opinion). My one hesitation is that a couple of moments needed the plot to move faster than the characters’ judgement probably should have allowed (like threatening a teenage boy or sneaking Eliza and a friend off to the mall without that friend’s parents knowing). Jax and Carter are now navigating life with minors involved, which changes the game quite a bit. It works in service of the story, but it’s definitely a stretch.
What I appreciated most was getting to watch Jax and Carter step into parenthood from two completely different angles. They handle pressure in different ways, but the way they complement each other never wavers. At the same time, Lee doesn’t lose the humor and warmth that’s always defined this couple.
Eliza is a wonderful addition to the universe. Watching her slowly let herself be loved by the family was one of the most rewarding threads in the book. I’m already invested in where her arc goes in the future.
TLDR: A worthy addition to a series I adore, held together by characters who feel lived-in even when the plot asks a lot of them. Jax and Carter’s parenthood era is exactly the chapter I didn’t know I needed, and Eliza is a very welcome addition to the Miller-Cooper tapestry.

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.5 stars)
Carter and Jax Miller-Cooper seem to have it all , careers they love, a happy marriage, and a life they’ve built together in Maryland. The one thing missing is the family they’ve always dreamed of, but after a year of trying to conceive without success, they begin to rethink their next steps.
When a pregnant teenager named Eliza finds herself alone after being kicked out by her parents, Carter and Jax step in to make sure she feels supported, safe, and loved. As they help Eliza through this unexpected chapter, they start to wonder if this surprising twist of fate may be connected to their own hopes of becoming parents. 💛
Full disclosure: I picked this one up because of the pregnancy plot, and while I enjoyed the overall storyline, I did feel a little out of the loop at times. Some side characters were introduced with very little background or context, which made me wonder if the Miller-Cooper family is part of a larger series and I happened to start in the middle.
That being said, this was still a decent read with themes of family, love, second chances, and unexpected paths in life. It was definitely a spicier romance than I expected, but I appreciated the emotional elements and the message that sometimes life’s detours can lead us somewhere beautiful. ✨

So if this is truly the end of the MIller-Cooper series I can be happy in the people Jax and Carter became. I've watched these two grow up through the novels and am probably just as proud as their parents with the support they show to each other, to the community, and their ever expanding family.
I would have thought the plot a little far fetched, but it completely fit the people Jax and Carter are and I was happy to see how it worked out for them. I will say though, don't start with this book, you need to read more about this family to understand why they are exactly the type of people who would open their house to a stranger.
I liked how much love there was for everyone and how Jax and Carter continue to stand up for those who aren't treated well by others.
The spice was on point in this book and Jax and Carter have such a fun dynamic in the bedroom, lake, bathroom, really anywhere...
I've enjoyed getting to know the Miller-Cooper's and if Erica Lee decides to add another book to the series I'll be in line to get it.

A Reminder A Family Doesn’t Have To Be Blood!
Erica - What a sweet and tender story. Jax & Carter have been through some tough decisions. Though things haven’t worked out, on Jax birthday she makes a very sweet wish for her birthday. Olivia, Carter and Jax celebrate her birthday with a weekend to remember. Then one morning things were happening. A young woman, Eliza appears at the cafe. And Life for The Miller-Cooper Clan would never be the same. There was so much good in this book. The characterization of Eliza was so much of what was needed in this family. Her softness, sweetness and her eagerness to do better, be better brought such a deep pride within the family. This is a must read in the continuation of The Miller - Cooper family saga. Loved It!

Everyone is growing up too fast in this family, it seems like only yesterday that the grandma mistakes Jax and Carter's vibrator for a present to herself story popped up. Now they are making their own family. I loved the story because it shows you that family are those with a big enough heart to love you. The only book I remember crying at the end because it was a happy ending cry.

Wow once again.
Carter and Jax took a difficult situation and made it shine. By taking in Eliza at her most vulnerable moment when she needed support most, and then going above and beyond for her and the baby. Wow.
I don't know if there will be more books in this story, but it has been an amazing ride with the Miller-Cooper clan.

Anything for Her is a nice continuation of Jax and Carters’ story in the ever-expanding Miller-Cooper universe. Adopting Eliza and her baby is a less common plot twist, but the personalities involved help sell the story line. This is an enjoyable read with a very satisfying conclusion.

Oh my goodness
I love this family. From the very first book, through all the ups and downs, to the final words of this book.
Thank you EL for introducing us to this amazing family.
