Excellent book on mobile testing and testing in general. Great references, monikers, links, guides, and recommendations all throughout. A must read for anyone interested and/or invested in mobile technology.
This is a really good book and what is interesting, it did not get old so much. The date of publication is 2015 and the information are still up-to-date which is hard to achieve in hardly any book about IT. It is worth to recommend this book for every mobile tester as a great introduction and something which can help in better understanding of the whole mobile testing process.
This is a well structured book about mobile testing with lots of insights and ideas. It coveres various topics starting from history of mobile network and devices ending with suggestions on acquiring an expertise in mobile testing.
The book is quite dated. 40% or more of the material is just general testing theory. The author gives a few ideas about how to test a generic APP. So I'd say there is close to nothing "Hands-On" about it.
The best book about Mobile Testing. Everyone that works with Mobile Testing should read this. But I expected a little more... The book is completed in terms of details about technologies, mobile fragmentation, specific technics, etc... I missed more "testable" aspects of mobile testing with more examples.
For who want to seek a "starter knowledge" on mobile testing, this is the right book for that. The Author go to most "need to know" topics and cover very well.
