Values Deck

Core values are important for every person, team, organization and family. Margie Heiler designed the Values Deck to help leaders and teams clarify, prioritize, and harness the energy of values alignment. It's a fun, hands-on way of focusing on values and bringing them into action and decision-making. The two-decks-in-one feature of the Values Deck expands the ways this multi-purpose tool can be used. On one side, the cards display values, and on the other side are questions to support reflection on the unseen power of values in life and work. The deck comes with a booklet with ideas for interactive exercises. It also includes a set of category heading cards to use for card-sort activities such as values clarification. Use the award-winning Values Deck yourself or with a group as a way to gain clarity and strength around values. The deck has been used successfully in many settings by coaches, team leaders, HR and OD professionals, executives, strategic planning facilitators, learning and development specialists, and families. Margie Heiler, MS, MCC, is a Certified Executive Coach, Consultant, Facilitator, Team Coach, and Coach Mentor. Her work focuses on developing resilient leadership, effective communication, and strengthening relationships. The Values Deck won the 2013 Coaching Toys "Big Life Big Action" Product Award. This award is for products that help people move forward both personally and professionally - reach for more and take big action. The box and booklet were re-designed in 2014.
