I don't even know where to start.

This did start off "slow" and took until 50% of way through when I realized I wasn't going to want to put the book down.
Following Vesper through her thought process of completing each boss battle has been fun and I'm curious as to why she sees everything a little different.
I can wait to see the dynamic change in book 2 with the group now in play.
