Noah York is looking forward to the beach vacation he’s been planning with his best friend, Cooper. He has visions of relaxing days on the sand and fun nights with the girls. However, all his plans come crashing down when Cooper abandons him for a trip to Italy. Not wanting to leave his friend in a lurch Cooper arranges for his sister to take his place. Noah hasn’t seen Lexi in years and isn’t looking forward to spending a week with her or her attitude. Lexi can’t stand party boy Noah. At least, that’s what she thinks. But when she sees him talking to a blonde at the bar on their first night in the beach town, jealousy takes over and she interrupts them with a kiss. One kiss leads to another. Before either of them realizes what’s happening passion and desire are awakened between them, but Lexi knows better than to fall for Noah. He is, after all, just a party boy.

Lexi & Noah’s story is a BFF’s little sister “romcom” that takes all the worst bits of 90s-early 00s New Adult books, puts them in a blender, and this is the poor result. Not worth your time to read dudebros refer to women as bitches in the opening chapter. See also the younger sister who’s lost weight and had orthodontia to become more conventionally hot, so much so her brother’s BFF doesn’t recognize her🙄 Hard pass.

Just when you think you have your vacation all sorted, a break away with your best mate that afore mentioned BFF goes and pulls the plug on the whole debarkle – and has the nerve to send his sister as a substitute.
What is a guy to do when he has to spend a week at the beach with his mate’s little sister – such joy!
Boy Oh Boy, Noah was not a happy camper when Cooper bailed on their lad’s week, but what really got his goat was the fact that he palmed him off with his sister Alexis for the week.
Well little did he know that Alexis wasn’t exactly thrilled either, Noah wasn’t exactly high on her list of favourite people, so this had all the hallmarks of turning out to be the week from hell for them both… or is it?
I got why Alexis didn’t like Noah, really I did but he didn’t. So what was the point at being mad with him for something he said years earlier?
Now, although the initial connection is less than a stellar, over the course of time they begin to understand that they have a definite connection, one that they can run from all they like but one which they can’t hide from but unfortunately they also have issues that they have yet to overcome.
Lies have consumed Alexis’s life everyone including her father seems to be unable to tell her the simple truth and that fact has and continues to impact her life.
It isn’t difficult to understand why her dad did what he did, he had children to protect but that doesn’t lessen the blow to those involved.
Whilst the story has a few twists and turns, it has a whole heap of mistrust and that stood the tale in good stead.
I am certain that there is load more to come and that in the next book we will get to find out a little more about Cooper but for the first book in the series, it set the tone and drew me in.
I’m looking forward to the next instalment.

My, my, what a steamy beach read!

I'm always excited when Ms. Sibarium offers me an ARC for an honest review. I must say, this book was a bit different from her books I've previously read. Mainly the sexy factor. Where her other books left some details of the intimate encounters to the reader's imagination, this one was descriptive. Not raunchy, but not lacking either. I was both surprised and impressed, and I felt it was very appropriate for this story.

The plot and development of the story were both executed well. I will admit the characters got on my nerves at times, but being able to be annoyed when I thought they were being stubborn and stupid means I was able to connect with them, which is a good thing. Though, I really would've liked to see Cooper get socked at least one good time to knock some sense into him.

There were some editing issues, but they were minor - missing or wrong words and run-on sentences mostly - and could be easily fixed. They did not disrupt the flow of reading or my enjoyment of the story.

Another note: There is no epilogue. This is not a negative thing, especially considering this is the first book of a series, but since most books end with epilogues, I figured I'd mention it to avoid confusion and unsuccessful swiping (which I experienced, ha).

Overall, it was a good, hot, summer read. Enjoy!

Noah was so looking forward to a week at the beach with his best friend Cooper. It had been awhile since he had any down time and right now, Noah needed it. At the last minute, Cooper decides he can't go. He arranges for his sister, Alexis, to go in his place.
Noah isn't thrilled with the idea. He doesn't want to waste a week at the beach babysitting. He had no idea what his week would be like. Alexis wasn't thrilled either. Noah had hurt her when she was younger. Still, a week at the beach is an opportunity she couldn't miss. They'd each go their own way. The week might be more than either of them is ready for.

This book is perfect for some down time of your own. The writing is flawless and the plotting makes this a fun read. You'll zip through it before you know it. The characters are well defined and like-able. I felt as if I were at the beach with them. You are drawn in by the first page and you'll forget the time. We've all had that one friend of a sibling's we didn't like. Ms. Sibarium makes it easy to see why Alexis doesn't like Noah. This book isn't just for the beach, it's for anytime you want to take a little mental vacation.*smile* Be sure to get your copy today!

I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it is a book to read over and over. ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

A great weekend read!

So I’ve had this book on my Kindle for weeks, and I finally managed to find the time to read it! I can happily say that it made my boring weekend a little more exciting!

When Cooper backs out of his holiday with Noah, his sister Lexi takes his place. Determined to have a good time and to prove she has no feelings towards Noah, Lexi tries to keep her distance and maintain a frosty exterior (which, I think she does a little too well).

Noah is taken aback by Lexi’s behaviour. One minute she’s kissing him, the next she’s being nasty.

There were quite a few times that I felt Lexi was being really mean for very little reason. She came across as a spiteful, hateful brat, throughout most of the book. I have to say I’m not a huge fan of hers.

Now Noah, on the other hand is gorgeous, clever and sweet. He’s honest, and thinks before he acts. I love his character and feel that he carried the story.

I think he can do better for a best friend, and better for a girlfriend.

Now, it may sound as though I’m bashing this book, but I’m not. It’s actually quite refreshing to have these mixed feelings towards the main characters.

Man Up Party Boy was a great read. I will definitely be reading more from Danielle Sibarium!

Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks?

Man Up Party Boy by Danielle Sibarium is a quick and steamy love story that makes for a perfect summer read. Lexi doesn't have much in the way of a self esteem. Noah is known as the ladies' man. Neither of them know much about the other. What they do know is most likely lies. The characters were addictive and fun. I really liked their attitudes. Like all of Danielle Sibarium ' characters these felt real with their histories and baggage. The romance is never easy, but I love, love, love reading it.

Man Up Party Boy by Danielle Sibarium was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

I'm going to be very generous and give this book a 4/5.

While entertaining and fun to read, the characters were a tad bit annoying with their whole I hate you but I love you kind of jazz that was going on. All caused by one person and one misunderstanding, Lexi has been hating her brother's best friend, Noah, for years. After seeing Lexi for the first time in a couple of years, Noah is shocked at how beautiful Lexi is and how his attraction for her never dimmed in the slightest even after all this time. The whole premise of the book was basically Noah trying to figure out why Lexi hated him. He then pursues her, woes her, and then figures out who is the person that caused all the heartache.

While this book wasn't a favourite of mine, I think it would be interesting to continue.

Lexi and Noah's story was so deliciously sexy and a wonderful heartfelt romance. I loved their back stories and how interference in their youth from someone they both trusted caused them to mistrust their growing feelings. Beautifully written with lots of extra nuances that made this story hard to put down! I highly recommend it! I look forward to reading more from Danielle Sibarium in the future!

I love Danielle's stories so much. They always satisfy my craving for a good book that I can't put down. This one is even more fun as the characters are a bit more grown up and it is written for an older audience. This story is full of fun heat. Like all of Danielle's stories, this one is a must read.

Sexy guy falls for best friends sister. This was a short, sexy, and sometimes a little corny sweet story. I love this authors young adult stories and this one was much racier and more adult erotica. The love scenes were well written and the characters are likable. A good summer book to read.

Cute story

This is a cute romance with the predictable obnoxious brother, miscommunications and misunderstandings. Nice happy ever after ending. The side story about Lexi's dad was a nice surprise in the storyline. I'd like to read the whole romance story about him.

Not bad, but nothing special. A typical spin on girl falls in love with brother’s best friend. Characters were not engaging and storyline was a bit generic and predictable. Easy one day read? Yes. Would I tell others to go grab it? Probably not.

I have read all of this author's work which have all been for Young Adults. This one falls into the New Adult category and just as enjoyable.

Cooper is meant to go on an all inclusive free holiday for a week with his friend Noah but has a last minute change of plans. Noah is not very happy about this change, specifically as Cooper has arranged for his sister Lexi to go in his place. He promises Noah that Lexi will keep out of his way.

Lexi has just graduated and she is not thrilled about the situation either as she thinks she hates Noah over something which happened quite a few years ago.

Noah's first encounter with Lexi is not what he expected at all. Lexi has changed quite a lot for starters but her attitude towards him leaves a lot to be desired. As they spend more time together Lexi realises that Noah is not what she expects and is a little confused about his behaviour. Noah, on the other end doesn't understand why Lexi hates him so much even though neither of them can deny the chemistry and attraction to each other.

As the story develops, it becomes apparent that the two people who Lexi loves and cares the most for have told her a lot of lies. Just when Noah and Lexi are getting comfortable with each other, they have another confrontation and they are back to square one.

Lexi's father too has his own secrets and decides to impart his news to Lexi. This only reinforces the fact that she has been told a pack of lies.

I like the way Lexi's father put her and Cooper first and held on to his secret until they were ready. These lies have caused nothing but insecurities, lack of trust and heartaches.

To me it's a well put together story and I love the characters. It will be nice to learn a little more about Cooper though.

I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Noah York was looking forward to a vacation of fun and relaxation with his best friend Cooper. However, when Cooper gets a chance of a life time he backs out, and sends his sister Lexi (Alexis) instead.
Noah always thought of Lexi as a B###h because of the way she was towards him as she got older. However, what happens when they have to spend the week with each other and start to realize maybe what they thought wasn't true.
Lexi wasn't thrilled to be spending the week with Noah but a week away was what she needed. While on this vacation Lexi finds out that many things that will not only crush her but make her stronger. Will she be able to survive it all?
Noah and Lexi have a love/hate relationship. when guards are let down all is good and amazing until those walls go back up. Will they be able to overcome all the deceit others have done to be together or where they not meant to be?
This book had strong, well rounded characters. the story-line was good but at points was a little bit of repetition.
Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone that likes to read about a couple that struggles to possibly have their HEA.

Noah is looking forward to some R & R with his best friend Coop, until Coop ditches him breaking the ultimate bro code of bro's before ho's. To make matters worse, Coop sends his sister, who happens to act like the ultimate queen "b", in his place. Determined not to lose his deposit or his well derserved vacation, Noah decides to man up and make the best of the situation.

When Lexi shows up with curves in all the right places, Noah finds it hard to keep his racy thoughts and his hands to himself. Although the attraction is mutual, Lexi is quick to shoot Noah down, because she's already been burned by him before and she has no intentions of letting him get close enough to do it again.

This was a quick read and a really entertaining story. You are drawn into the plot immediately and there are enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. The story was well developed and the characters were likeable (especially Mr. Coooer and Stephan). There were some minor editing issues but not enough to distract from the story and this book was an overall good read.

Noah the party boy

Noah and his best friend Cooper have a trip planned. Cooper then backs out to go on a trip with a new girl he is seeing. Noah still takes the trip but Cooper's sister Alexis is taking his place.

Alexis went on this trip to help out her brother and get away. She has acted rude to Noah because of things he said in the past, that he was not aware of.

Noah tries to be nice to Lexi and it doesn't seem to go his way. After a while he breaks through her shell and he sees he wants something more with her. The only thing that is in the way is telling Cooper. It becomes more complicated when it is time to tell him and it seems things may not work out between Noah and Lexi.

Really enjoyed this

This is kind of a second-ish chance romance and an enemies to lovers story. I love Lexi and Noah. Lexi is operating on false information that was given to her from her brother years ago. The two finally have a chance to see what they have together without hindrance from her family.
I enjoyed the relationship and the main characters. I really wanted to smack Cooper upside the head a few times, but luckily he finally opened his mind and heart.
You will really enjoy this book.:)

Absolutely loved this book

I love this book. Noah and Lexi have a love/hate relationship. Noah was hoping for a week at the beach with his best friend Cooper. But Cooper ditches his to go on a all expenses paid vacation with his chick friend. So lexi takes his play.

I love the back story of these 2. I love this story in general. I'm pretty sure this book took favorite spot of Danielle's books. Her books just get better and better
