PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST POUR THIS SERIES INTO MY VEINS. READING IT IS NOT ENOUGH ANYMORE.
The way I have been waiting for Knox’s story to come out!!! And HOLY MOTHER, DID IT SLAP SO HARD.
It was everything I did NOT expect and I mean that as a huge compliment.
There were so many things I thought were going to happen, and then I was proven wrong every time and I was like, “OH OKAY, I’m going with it actuALLy”
I already knew I would love Knox from the previous book, BUT MY GREATNESS HEAVENS, Adrian deserves just as much praise hello?????
He’s the human equivalent of “to be loved is to be seen” and I fking LOVED IT 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 He saw right through Knox’s bullshit and noticed even the little things.
The dynamic between them was TO DIE FORRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Technically they’re rivals, but Adrian just couldn’t help himself. He was constantly praising the fuck out of Knox and straight-up giving him advice on how to beat him (TEEHEEEEE GIGGLING AS WE SPEAK)
And then when Knox started doing the same to him I WAS WEAKKKKKKKK!!!!!
They were so in love it was sickening 🥰🥰🥰
I also loved that this whole story was happening while Rowan/Kane’s relationship (from the previous book) was developing off-page!!! Usually the books in the series happen back-to-back, but this time it was basically at the same time and I loooooved this tiny detail!! I don’t want it to go unnoticed 🥹🥹🥹
If only it could’ve been a tiny bit longer!!!! I was a bit sad when I saw it was only 100 pages. But then again, every story JP writes is a masterpiece. She could write about two potatoes in love and I’d eat that shit up.
A HUGE THANK YOU to her for the ARC again. What a blessing, truly 🥹🥹💕💕💕
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an advance copy and this is my honest review. 4* Really enjoyed. Opposing team rivals forced together at a pro football training camp for 5 weeks. Vega is quiet and intense. Knox is flashy but diligent and always a team player. The romance is slow and surprisingly careful and honest. These guys are kinda sweet to each other even before they open up. Fun spice, too. The praise and soft dom energy are great and it all just melts Knox into putty. Enjoyed the first time jitters and the comforting responses.
The ending jumps ahead, but it worked for me. There’s a good coming out scene with nerves and some tough questions. The last pages left me smiling and proud of them.
I will say, the first half or so has a lot of football talk and I breezed over some of it. I’m not a football guy, but it sounded intense and realistic, to me at least.
I really like this as a short story. I wasn’t sure how things would tie up at the end, but the jump from early scene to later scene just seemed to flow and I didn’t question it. Great story.
Praised by the Cornerback is about Connor and Adrian, who are rivals. During the off-season, they end up at the same training camp.
This was a perfect, quick read about bi awakening. I liked how the two of them worked together and helped each other improve by learning how to play against one another.
This is the third book of the Off-Limits series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Praised by the Cornerback is the third book in the Off-Limits series, it can be read as a standalone but I think it's better in order. This is a rivals to lovers, sexual awakening read about Connor and Adrian. I have really enjoyed this series and this one did not disappoint at all, loved the storyline and the characters.
I really enjoyed this story. This was a short, very spicy story with some very interesting characters. I absolutely loved the dynamic between these two.
