"I'm Ink, Therefore I Am!": Farley's San Francisco Chronicles

Rate this book
Farley's San Francisco Chronicles by Phil Frank. Foreword by San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. Cartoonist Phil Frank's daily cartoon strip, Farley, has been keeping a finger on the pulse of the Bay Area for more than ten years. "I'm Ink, Therefore I Am!" gathers a collection of about 300 strips, originally published in the San Francisco Chronicle, for 1990 through 1996. Though local in orientation, the cartoons pertain to situations that arise anywhere people live, work, and vote in significant numbers. Characters such as Bruce D. Raven, Bruinhilda, and, of course, Farley himself are involved in mayoral elections, voter referendums, the local sports scene, and the social climate.
