OMG!!!! I finally found it!!! This was one of my FAVORITE books when I was a kid. I absolutely loved it! I was obsessed with the story about the little chipmunk mailman and all the animal friends he visited, delivering mail. And the story of the little elephant and all his toils trying to was his jacket--I had forgotten all about that until I saw the cover art. Oh, wow! I am so glad I finally have the title and ISBN. I'm sure my childhood copy is packed somewhere in my parents' basement, but for now I might just have to track down a used copy so I can pore over it all over again.

This has been a favorite since I was a child! Lovely illustrations and sweet stories. I was thrilled when my sister gave it to me at my baby shower and now I get to share these stories with my own baby.

One of my very favorite childhood books. I love every page.
