The provocative continuation of “ENGAGE” by Evelyn Harper.

Amanda & Mathis

Amanda Taylor is forced to meet her first love, Mathis Côté, because of a stipulation in her Uncle’s will. Mathis abandoned her after a summer of seemingly everlasting dreams. He simply cut off contact.

When Amanda meets Mathis, he has gorgeous women hanging from his arms and is absolutely nothing like the young boy she fell in love with. Or is he?

As Amanda struggles to get to know the kind of man Mathis has become, they are both thrown into danger leaving Amanda totally confused.

She seeks answers from Mathis, but Mathis isn’t interested in contacting Amanda at all...just like the end of that fateful summer. She meets him by chance, but he ignores her as he shows off the new high-profile woman clinging to him.

The only deliberate contact he makes is sending a strange ominous package.

Amanda will have to take a huge risk to get the answers she needs.

Jennifer and Philip

Jennifer has let Philip into her heart for the first time. Just when she thinks there could be a future between them, her ex shows up, to threaten their budding relationship.

Philip still distances himself from Jennifer. Is he trying to protect himself, or is he trying to hide something?

Sweet Madness!!!

Those are the first two words that came to me as I got done reading "Entwine." I cannot begin to count the amount of times that I said to myself "What the hell???" while reading.

Some authors fall short in their follow up books in a series where the first book in the series remains the best and the others manage to be progressively worse. Thank God Evelyn Harper has stayed away from this trend.

I had so many conflicting emotions while reading the book but at the end of it I could sum up both stories by saying “Any time you open up your heart, you risk getting hurt.”

I screamed at Jennifer throughout the book for being such an over-thinker. I thought I was good at over thinking things but Jennifer takes the cake. Things are very rarely as they appear to be or rather as we think they appear to be.

What I saw as I read was that both ladies Jennifer & Amanda have poor self-esteem…both continually put themselves down thinking that the man they’re with couldn’t possibly want them. He should want someone prettier, smarter, sophisticated, well-connected, wealthier…this made the characters seem real in the sense that there are millions of women who do this constantly…we are our own worst enemies at times comparing ourselves to other women. Someone will always be prettier, smarter, and wealthier than you…but you have to trust that if a guy is with you there must be something special about you that he can’t get in anyone else or doesn’t even want to try finding it in anyone else.

For the life of me I couldn't understand how Amanda would trust Mathis so blindly and I wondered if there was any truth to the saying that says "Love is Blind." I don't think love is blind at all though. I think it sees the sign slapping it across the face and it repeatedly turns the other cheek because it hopes.

This book has left me beautifully frustrated in that I felt like so much was said yet at the same time. Ms. Evelyn is doing a great job of not revealing all her cards too soon. This was definitely worth more than 5 stars.

Eager to see what happens next.

I was given this book for my honest review by the author

Submission the meaning is the state of being obedient: the act of accepting the authority or control of someone else. As I look more deeply into this word as individuals we tend to be submissive in our own way whether it be in the kitchen making a scrumptious treat to speaking. We all like having control in our lives it’s in our nature. Giving up the control however is something we take a great trust in.

This is the 2nd book in this series and needs to be read in order.

This author has two couples Amanda and Mathis, Phillip and Jessica’s story going on at the same time in this book. Both have uniqueness about them and both have the ever loving hotter than hot sex in them. It’s like a big bowl of spaghetti each couple has their own ways about going on in the making but with the right amount of sauce with a bit of Parmesan the bowl can turn out just right. This is their journey’s

Happy Reading

TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT, SO MUCH INTENSE THAN ENGAGE
It's so intense in all aspects with ALL 4 where Mathis tells Amanda to KEEP away after, they've been shot at due tí something from his past before he was taken under the wing of her Uncle. Though no matter what Amanda's HAS enough & decide to DO everything she can to SEE Him ;-)
Then it comes to Jennifer and Philip, where Philip KEEPS Blowing Hot & Cold towards Jennifer, then she decides She's HAD ENOUGH & Leaves All Aspects of their life together until HE rings her, apologises abs BEGS her to come back abs that he well be patient she CAN TRUST him AGAIN

This book was great even though I enjoyed the first book in the series a little more. Both stories kept me hooked until the very end and there is still so many unanswered questions to find and answer for that I cannot wait to turn to the first page of the first book. It was a thrilling read and there was a lot of things happening. I also liked how this book was quite quick to read so it won't really take any time to finish especially when the book is a definite page-turner.
If you have read the first book or even if you haven't you should either start reading this book or get your hands on the first book in the series or you will truly miss out on something amazing.

The stories continue, book 2 starts right where engage finishes.

Amanda and Mathis

All Amanda wants to do is be with Mathis but his present puts her in danger therefore Mathis will do all he needs to do to protect her and that includes staying away from her.

Jennifer and Phillip

Both their present as past collide but separately, Phillip is dealing with his past but not wanting to involve jennifer which leads to Jennifer thinking he has a past girlfriend he is in contact with. While she is feeling unsure where she stands with Phillip, Jennifer ex shows up a changed man and want nothing more than to get her back.

The second part of the story Entwine picks up where Engaged left off.
Amanda is still no closer to having a relationship with Mathis. He is hiding something from her and she is determined to find out what it is.
Jennifer is even more confused about her relationship with Phillip. With Brad coming back into her life and the mysterious J who is pursuing Phillip it's unknown if these two will get past the burning passion they share to develop anything meaningful.
Another leaving you on the edge of your seat, excellent read by Evelyn Harper!!

Amanda is trying to figure out Mathias. He has changed but she still wants him. She goes to great lengths to meet up with him. Some of them are borderline stalking. She just wants answers. Jennifer and Philip are having issues. He doesn't think anything is wrong till she up and quits her job with him. Never mind that Brad her ex is trying to win her back. Jennifer doesn't know what to make of her relationship with Philip. It's all up and down and back and forth. Now I'll read the last book and hopefully all will be worked out.

I really like the couples in these stories. Mathis is trying to keep Amanda safe, but she doesn't want to lose him again. But with the criminal family after him will they risk being together?

With Jennifer and Phillip I feel he cares for her but his past is stopping him to fully be with her and now with the ex wanting her back, Jennifer is confused. I can't wait to see what happens with both couples

I just finished, Entwine, book two of the Engage series by Evelyn Harper. Just as in Engage, I loved the continuing story of Amanda & Mathis and Jennifer & Phillip and was so happy that the aurthor added to their romances. This is another well-written book where author Evelyn Harper excels - interesting storylines and very well-described main and secondary characters. I plan to start reading Expose, book three of the Engage series ASAP - don't miss this series!

right. So in this book it gets a lot mor interesting between Jennifer and Phillip. But brad is half I the picture I wonder how that will work out.

Amanda and Mathis are struggling to. He wants to keep her damage so he wants her to stay away but she's stubborn like me and doesn't listen. So far so good

We shall see what the third book has to offer.

I really enjoyed this book but it was a lot more intense then the first in the series. Throughout the book you just wanted to shake these men into some sense but by the end they start to realize what they have with these wonderful women. It was very well written and I cannot wait to get into the last book of the series!

The second book in the series was just as good if not better then the first. As I read it just kept pulling me in. I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to see how Amanda and Mathis turn out and if Jennifer and Philip finally figure it out.
