I enjoyed this cute and entertaining standalone mystery that was a quick and clean read. When Jill couldn't help getting involved in finding out where an antique ring came from that was in a competitor's cupcake she'd bought, it turned into a murder investigation. There was a twist at the end with a good, short showdown.

Surprise in cupcake

Great book. I loved it!! 💘the recipes. I wrote down brownie cupcakes. I'm going g to try them. They sound nummy.

This was a short cozy mystery. I think I would have liked it more if it was longer and had a little more depth to it.
