Preparing for a campy horror festival, Richard and Dylan find an unusual projector in the basement of an old theatre. They test the projector on a B-movie called “Moondemon”, discovering the projector’s dangerous features as it sucks the title character and its intended victim, Annette, out of the black and white movie and into the real world.

Chaos ensues, coming to a head when the projector resurrects the ghost of its creator, the notorious Satanist Aleister Crowley. Crowley wastes no time bringing to life other characters on the festival’s schedule. His plan is to sacrifice the theatre audience to the movie villains, using their blood to cement his return to life.

Can Richard, Dylan and Annette foil his plans in time, or will they too fall victims to the Moondemon, a serial killer, aliens…or maybe a giant shark?

A. E. Howe lives and writes on a farm in the wilds of north Florida with his wife, horses and more cats than he can count. He received a degree in English Education from the University of Georgia and is a produced screenwriter and playwright. His first published book was Broken State; the Larry Macklin Mysteries is his first series and he has plans for more. Howe is also the co-host of the "Guns of Hollywood" podcast, part of the Firearms Radio Network. When not writing or podcasting, Howe enjoys riding, competitive shooting and working on the farm.
