Ann Murphy left home of Lynn, Massachusetts the day after she graduated from high school to pursue a show business career. She found it at Radio City Music Hall where she danced with the Rockettes for over twenty years. She met her husband there, control board operator Tom St. John and upon Tom’s retirement they moved to California. In 1989, Tom died after a long illness. Ann found herself back in show business where she danced with The Palm Springs Follies and The Welk Theatre Resort. She came back to New York where she met fellow actor Lou Ruggiero, who was a widower, in a show called One More Time. Lou and Ann were together eleven years before he died this past January. She credits Lou with encouraging her to finish this book and has dedicated the book to him.
