Vasu lives in a BIG family. He gets married to Elekia, who is very beautiful while Vasu is dark-skinned. Due to that colour Elekia hates him and tells him the only reason she married him was because her parents told her she had to. The rest of the story is about Elekia realizing that colour is not everything but the love a person gets and gives.
