Peter Sturges Ruckman (November 19, 1921 – April 21, 2016) was an American Independent Baptist pastor and founder of Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, Florida (not to be confused with Pensacola Christian College, also in Pensacola, Florida).

Ruckman was known for his position that the King James Version constituted "advanced revelation" and was the final, preserved word of God for English speakers.

No sugarcoating the Truth

Dr. Ruckman says what he means, and he means what he says. And, he gives you all the sympathy of a solider told to guard the entrance to a grocery store from a horde of mothers with starving children, and the only way he can grant them entrance is if they meet the stringent conditions set forth, which he keeps teaching them while they refuse to listen, actively rebel, and sabotage his efforts.

The words are strong, harsh. You have to like and respect the man in order to like his style, but he tells the truth. You have to love the truth to like his style.

Open your KJV Bible, and, if you don't have one, buy one. You need it, and you must use it. We aren't given the verses, only the notes. I appreciate this, because opening the word of God is essential!

I especially appreciate that we are told that the first sin is to subtract from God's Word. There is a curse tor altering God's Word, written out in Revelation. We are also made to recognize the last prayer in the Bible- Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!

We are told why all these verses are important. We are being taught to build and defend our faith. It's an essential read for any believer. But it isn't easy to read. There is a whole lot to chew on. And, I'm grateful for the time Dr. Ruckmam spent to write this out for us.

Good, but I think you need some context regarding what Dr Ruckman is going on about in some of these references. If I had my time over again I would just spend a little more and get the Ruckman Reference Bible itself, which I think would be a more complete reference.

Lots of decent insights

the insights are very good almost wish there were more. Ruckman in a bible reference goes on many rants which at least me get skimmed almost like how someone rolls his eyes when someone starts yelling, " he is at it again" but other than that good.
