This informational book about helicopters would be great for older readers! It has a ton of great information that would hold the readers attention. Although it has a ton of awesome pictures it is not good for a read aloud. "Helicopters: High- Flying Heroes" written by Karen and Glen Bledsoe is rather long, and divided up into chapters. It would be great for a student to do research out of. I think you could use this book to encourage reluctant writers to write an informational report about helicopters if that interests them. They could get most of their information from this book.

The book has real life examples of military helicopter missions, along with medical rescues. The book discusses the uses of different sized helicopters, how they are made, and how they are important in battle.
