Samael Aun Weor (which is a Hebrew name) wrote over sixty books, gave thousands of lectures, and formed the worldwide Gnostic Movement, whose members number in the millions. Though these accomplishments are certainly impressive by any standard, they are merely the pale terrestrial reflection of the work he accomplished internally, spiritually. And yet, in spite of his wisdom and generosity towards mankind, he said:

"Do not follow me. I am just a signpost. Reach your own Self-realization."

His lifelong mission was to deliver to humanity the complete path toward the realization of the inner Being, or in other words, the total and exact science required by anyone of any religion, race, culture or creed who wishes to fully and completely develop the human soul. The path he taught is the Path of the Bodhisattva, that mysterious and ancient wisdom long hidden in the bosom of every great religion.

"For as long as space endures and for as long as the world lasts, may I live dispelling the miseries of the world." - From The Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life by Shantideva

Another fantastic book by Samael Aun Weor. This book demonstrates that the mysticism of the ancient Americans is completely in harmony with that of the Egyptians, Buddhists, Christians, Greeks, Jews, Hindus, and so on, since all originated from the one, universal religion.

I highly recommend this author's work. Lovers of philosophy, gnosticism, esotericism, mysticism, sex magic (sex without orgasm), and Kundalini will appreciate Samael Aun Weor. If you are on the spiritual path, this author's books are all you need.

I haven't read the entire book, so perhaps I am being a little unfair. I've read a handful of chapters and this book is full of a lot inaccurate information regarding ancient Mesoamerica. I think it is fine if you believe in this idea of all religions coming from one universal truth or whatever the current new age term is, but the facts on ancient Mesoamerica are not true.
The chapter on the bat god, for example, is based on just major misconceptions. There is no Aztec "bat god." Tzinacan is a Nahua word for bat, but there is no bat god. Xipe Totec sometimes is depicted with a bat head, but they are still not a bat god. There is also no Maya bat god, but there are spirit bats in the underworld. And image used, which comes from Maya art, not Aztec, depicts what is known as a "way" (wayob for plural) and is not a god, but rather an animal self. There is also an uncomfortable amount of cultural blending of Mesoamerican cultures without any recognition of how different they all are.
But who knows. Maybe I'm not just spiritually awakened enough.
