Although 2002 was a long while ago, if this author has continued to teach versions of Access beyond this one I would highly recommend his teachings. This book and I spent a lot of time together. It was full of tabs, page folders, highlights, hand-written notes, and was (is as I have never let go of it), well used.

It's worth it's weight (and it is a heavy one), in gold. I built a lot of databases and still maintain quite a few within my firm because of this text.

Understanding databases no matter your field, I have found to be a very useful tool.
