I finished this book last night and honestly I really didn’t like it and rated it 1 star and feel bad about it. But 1 stars equals “didn’t like it” on Goodreads so I’ll stick with it.
Why didn’t I like it? I didn’t like the story at all, I didn’t like the writing style, I didn’t like the characters and last but not least because this totally ruined it for me … there are so many spelling and grammar errors. English is not my mother tongue so maybe I’m wrong in some instances but there really are too many. If I’m right this is the author’s first book and she didn’t have an editor but please ask family or friends to read it and help you getting as much errors out as possible. I also saw a rather harsh rating on Amazon from a few months ago (the only rating at that moment) where it’s mentioned that there are too many errors. Use those comments to make improvements …
Here is the story in short but be aware there are spoilers
There were some moments I really wanted to stop but since I got the opportunity to read this one and it was a short one I felt obliged to finish and hoped it would get better…
I still hate doing this but 1 star is my honest rating :(

1.5 Stars
Although I could feel the appeal of this book it wasn't well executed.
Sarah comes to her house to find her boyfriend James with three other women in bed; after that everything's spiralling and she ends up locked in jail. But Jeff comes along and bail her out and helps her. Jeff's the neighbor that's been secretly watching and wanting Sarah for a long time now. Sarah feels the attraction but she's just gotten out of an awful relationship, how could she start a new one?
There were too many grammar errors and the writing was too fast, too many things happened in few pages and things were too rushed. I didn't feel the chemistry between them at all and Sarah was not a lovable charachter, most of the time I wanted to slap her.
Instead of relaxing me this book gave me a headache. Sorry but not well done.
I received this arc for my honest review and I liked the story line and concept. It it needs more..it seemed a little rushed but if more time in between the timelines is added I am positive it will be am awesome book.
Sarah is a smart girl but gets hooked it with the wrong guy. But when the wrong guy James gets her into some trouble a neighbor/stalker/lawyer makes her see that they are good guys out there. When she finally gets her life together Sarah will find her self In a loving committed relationship !
WOW! Straight into the story, although it feels as though something is missing. It might work/flow better if we have maybe a Prologue, have some character building.
We start with a very bewildered Sarah and catch onto her finding her boyfriend stuck in a tryst with other women.
This is in alternating POV's and James comes over originally as really very sorry, I thought that perhaps Sarah was too easily forgetting what she had witnessed, then with the help of her girlfriends goes and has a one night stand of her own.
Not sure I liked the tit-for-tat cheating, and then James goes totally off the deep end, we find out why later, but I think we might, as readers, understand more if we have had some character background/building beforehand.
Overall, I enjoyed the premise of the story, but think that the immediate cheating will have people marking their reviews down.
Once Jeff comes into play, he and Sarah had immediate feelings and a great connection for each other which was very unprofessional of him.
Their relationship did move very fast, but in all honesty they suited each other.
The sex scenes were sizzling from the outset, the passion came over very well. Although Jeff and Sarah were both quite emotionally flawed, James had had ulterior motives.
We learn about James, the cheating scoundrel and what happens to him, whilst Sarah is under investigation for something she clearly knows nothing off.
I'm glad it all worked in Sarah and Jeff's favour, and that they have a future together, although the personal curve ball was very unexpected (good twist!) sweet and lovely but very unexpected. Happy for the epilogue it cleared some questions.
I received a free copy of this for an honest review.
I truly, I mean truly tried to finish this book but failed miserably. The concept was good but the execution fell short for me. And I honestly hate only giving 1 start but when I can't finish the book it's hard to give anything higher. The writing was all over the place. It was a bit too fast paced and there were several grammatical errors. Not that I haven't read the likes of Susan Mallery or Kristan Higgins and found one or two but there were definitely more than one or two. The female lead, Sarah, drove me crazy. She was a little too wishy-washy and whiny for me. And as for the two male characters, I just couldn't wrap my head around them. It was supposed to be a quick read. Maybe some more back story needed to be added because the first few pages were great at drawing in the reader. It's nice to start with some action to get the ball rolling but unfortunately for me the ball stopped rolling.
I received this book in an exchange for an honest review. Everyone has their own opinions but this one is mine. In my honest opinion I didn't like this book I expected something completely different based on the blurb. I didn't connect with the characters. I didn't feel any chemistry either between the main characters. Everything happened waaaay too fast I wanted to believe that they loved each other but nope I just didn't sorry. The sex scenes weren't all that bad. I will still read more books from this author in the future.
Complimentary copy provided by author for an honest review. After reading the short description I was so disappointed when I started reading. Lots of grammar faults, the story was told in one rush so fast from one point to another and then it was finished.
SO K.A. Lightle don't let this get you down go back to your worktable, change all the grammars and work it more out because this story has potential.
Received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
A brief novella story about a lady meeting a hot man in unusual circumstances that potentially had the makings of a great book. Unfortunately it was extremely rushed, the underlining story did not flow well and the grammar detracted slightly from my reading pleasure. The author should be applauded for having the idea.
A very short quick read. I liked the story but felt there was potential. Sarah comes home and finds her boyfriend in bed with 2 girls. I wasn't sure what Sarah is thinking because I didn't like how she takes him back. Things were going crazy with her boyfriend until she meets Jeff. It seems Sarah falls in love quickly. But the story kept me going.
I received this book free for an honest review. It wasn't for me unfortunately, the story felt rushed and the timeline didn't quite add up at times. I didn't connect with the characters and the spelling and grammar was really irritating. I struggled to finish.
