I couldn't put it down! I really loved the action and the author's way of keeping the action going with all of the characters involved. I really liked the romantic angle woven into the action and the way the characters have developed from the first book. It was like I saw it playing out inside of my head as I read it. I can't wait for the next adventure!
I was a little skeptical seeing the second book out so soon after the first but I have to say I am impressed! The writer really delivered with a fast paced story and really human characters. I like to see heroes with flaws and doubts because I can relate better to that. I also liked the military battle scenes. My only leftover skepticism is how he will top this one?
Loved it! The characters seemed so real in my mind. Like a movie in my brain as I read it. I kept reading one more chapter and couldn't stop. The battle was very well done!
Definitely a good quick and fun read. I look forward to more!
