Solo is a black cat who gets into everything, including knocking eggs off the counter and eating the runny mess. One day when he is outside he comes across a mother duck with her eggs. He runs the mother off and is going to eat the eggs when one egg begins to crack and a duckling pops out. He can't figure this out since he has never seen a duckling pop out of an egg before. The duckling thinks Solo is his mother and follows him everywhere.

Cute story about a very naughty cat. My son would have loved this even more at age 5, when he was really preoccupied with the behavior of others (well, more so than he is now).
