This book aims to provide all the information needed to tackle matrimonial proceedings in County courts, the Family Division of the High court and in the particular District Registries. Matters covered in the book divorce, nullity, judicial separation, ancillary relief, children, evidence, appeals, enforcement of orders, costs and legal aid and other originating proceedings. It takes account of the Family Law Reform Act 1987, the Family Law Act 1986, the Insolvency Act 1986 and changes in the the Matrimonial Causes Rules and Practice Directions plus case law, including Gillick v West Norfolk Area Health Authority, Dinch v Dinch, Border v Border and Sherdley v Sherdley. The book also contains worked examples, checklists and an appendix of forms.
