I liked when George & Harold changed the sign in to saying come and see are heary armpits.

Miss 3 has devoured Captain Underpants at bedtime each night! She loves reading these (and the movie too!).

Miss 3 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.

This is not a series that adults will find person delight in. However, it is a marvelous series for children 7+. I gave the complete set to my nephew for his 8th birthday and he pushed aside new Lego and other toys in his excitement to ... read. You cannot complain about that!!

Series is a lot of fun for school-aged children and helped my boys get into reading and drawing more. Helps teach larger words, homonyms, and sarcasm. A lot of sarcasm, oh, and potty words... :)

I didn't read many of these, but what stood out to me was their impeccable sense of humor, self-awareness, and devotion to the loose and silly narratives. Also, the Flip-O-Rama technique was just endlessly entertaining ~
