Overall, very helpful tips and hints on the writing process. The length is perfect for the writer who needs information, but doesn’t have time to invest hours digging for it in reference books or online. Maybe not a catchall writing reference, but definitely a catch-plenty! Well done . . . Alfred Haynes, aspiring author and beta reader.

This a must read for anyone on their journey of writing. I learned valuable tools and was reminded of much more. I like that the book was in an easy to read format and not cluttered like a text book. I have tried to read other book along the same line but got exhausted because it seemed they had so much to say and it just dragged on and on. I enjoyed the flow and that your books are in a direct and to the point form
If you are a writer who is serious about your craft, stop what you are doing right now and purchase this book. Of Ms. Joe's A-Z series, this is perhaps the most vital and eye-opening edition. Full of valuable information and motivation, it is truly a must read for every professional or wannabe-professional writer. Highly recommended writing tool!!
Highly recommended! This book is a valuable resource for writers, whether you are a novice or an expert. It contains solid editing tips and so much more. Thanks for your expertise, Barbara Joe and Felicia Thomas. Excellent job!
Good title because this book was full of basic editing tips from A-Z. I love how the editing process was described as a back-rub and a deep-tissue massage. I enjoyed the humor the was put in for example, alright is not all right. I agree, writing is personal. Editing is business. That’s why it’s imperative to read this motivational guide if you’re serious about writing and earning money once you’re finished your first draft. Honest, I wish I read this book before I first published mine because I had to learn the hard way and paid a lot for my mistakes. Read this book before you write your first book. Also, read this book before you write your next book. You’re worth the investment. Author of They Don’t Hear Her Cries Alethea Gibbs
