I enjoyed this book, possibly even better than book 1. The author diminished the usage of the flowery language that I didn't care for in book 1 and the sex scenes were still hot. I found the jealousy of Warren way too much over the top. I understand that he had problems with both Daisy's issues and her new client's continued advances even when she told him 'No'. Were Warren's concerns valid? Absolutely.
However, Daisy continued to place herself in compromising situations. A couple of the situations I felt were so much of a departure for Daisy's character that I had trouble understanding her. She's portrayed as an intelligent, educated woman and yet, acted like a sexually active teenager. To me, the intelligent woman I thought of her would never allow herself to find her in the situations she did.
Overall, though. I liked the book. I liked the premise and the direction to story took. I thought the uncover work she was hired to do was a clever mechanism to introduce the reader into another world apart from what many people can comprehend.
Do try it out for yourself. I think you'll enjoy the read.

Hot Hot hot
Getting Him Off Secretly, is a well written romance, erotic and crime book. If you love to read all of the above then this is the book for you.
Daisy and Warren have been dating secretly for months. Or at least they think it's secretly, but in reality all their friends know. The wonderful hands on couple can't keep a secret or hide their feelings for the life of them.
The case involving an old friend of Daisy's almost tire the relationship apart. It's not worth letting an undercover case getting between love and work. The case involved assault, murder and blackmailing which resulted in Dasiy finding trouble. Nothing could ever go right when it comes to things like this.
There was proposals, fights and secrets throughout the whole book. Head over to Amazon and buy both books now to catch up on all the secrets.

If you are ready for a great book then this is the one. It brought out feelings gone dormant for me and was the best 7 hours in awhile I've spent.warren,daisy,and the judge is truly the best it's cops,erotic, and closer than any of true reality for a lot of women.i would definitely recommend this. And would like to say cheers and hats off to CR Lemons

This book continues to enlarge the story of Daisy and Warren, and their circle of friends. The couple is becoming closer, if not further apart through misunderstanding, and a crazy storyline. Keeps one reading to see how it all works out. Love, and lies, make an intense experience in the literary world!

Getting him off Secretly was a sexy and suspenseful 4 star read.
Daisy and Warren are dating secretly (so they think). The connection these two have is once again off the charts hot. And the sex scenes, WOW. Cold shower may be necessary.
Daisy is working on a case for an old friend (Eli) that brings her trouble and causes some waves in her relationship with Warren. There is an attraction between Eli and Daisy that Warren senses.
We see a little more growth in Daisy and Warren’s relationship. Warren struggles with his insecurities and secrets. Will they be able to work through their issues? What will happen when the secrets are revealed?
Getting Him Off Secretly was a great read that you won’t want to put down until your done. I really enjoyed Daisy sassiness and the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I can’t wait to read book three in the series.

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review.
Wow again I was sucked in to the story and sent for a wild ride. I was lucky to have read the first book in the series so I all ready had the opportunity to get to know Daisy and Warren. In this book we continue with their story they are officially together but still not letting anyone know ( daisy's idea not Warrens) anyways a judge and an old friend of Daisy and if you read the previous book you'd understand what old friends mean.. So the judge Eli needs Daisy and Warren's help.. Because he's a high-profile judge he needs them to help him getting off secretly.. And for me again the number one character that stood out for me in the story was Daisy she's always finding herself into situations in trouble I love her comments her quick witty sassy remarks and how trouble always finds her, but I can't forget Warren the hot alpha male that anyone who knows him doesn't doublecross him they don't want them to hear kick their butts but for me in the story this time around a lot of his insecurities and his fears came out more and more , they showed through as simple as his actions a look or something he may say.
I know the story is about solving a murder in helping clear a judges name but my focus was more on daisies and Warren story that came through a lot more to watch those two struggle with what if's, commitment secrets oh there's so many secrets in those secrets kept piling up more and more for me I had to find out where the secrets come tumbling down. Would they get past the what if's ? Trust?
And can they work through all that and solve a murder at the same time.
I loved this book and this is a definitely a recommended read!!

The super sexy judge is Daisy's old boss, and they have a bit of history. This undercover assignment takes her into a top secret world of the most powerful men of Ft. Worth, while putting a big strain on her relationship since she's trying to resist the moves of the hot Eli. Will Daisy and Warren be able to catch the murderer with their relationship intact?
Another great mystery from this author. Character development keeps evolving, with an awesome cast of secondaries. I seriously love the fact that CR Lemons can write mysteries where no two are alike. Her brilliant twists and turns make for fantastic WTH moments that come out of left field. But like the first book, the sexy scene goodness falls flat for me with Daisy's inner dialogue describing body parts and the sex. If not for that aspect, this would be a perfect read. But because this author can write a mystery like no other, I'm excited to read more of her work.

In Getting Him Off Secretly, Judge Eli Whitfield could possibly be accused of murder when his mistress comes up missing. Daisy his hired to unravel the case.
But Daisy has a hard time working along with Judge Eli because not only is he her former boss, they also have history togethor.
Daisy has a hard time controlling the events between Eli and herself. She finds herself in some compromising positions. Warren is beside himself and tries to play along and hold back his temper..
Eli is a part of a secret society that stays behind close doors. This society has very important men involved. This men are in the public eye daily. Daisy knows that this case is very important, so she has to stay hidden very well. But the attraction between Eli and Daisy could end the relationship between her and Warren.
So not only does she have a case to solve. She also has to fix her love life..
There are a lot of steamy scenes in this book. Ones that even make me blush.

I love this book! CR Lemons is an amazingly talented mystery writer.
This book had me guessing the whole time. I loved reading the book and working out the case in my mind as it was pieced together in the story.
Not only is she incredible at keeping your mind whirling about solving the case, but she also knows how to get her readers hot and bothered. Yes, this book is hot! Almost too hot to handle!
In addition to that it is funny. Daisy Sinclair is awesome. You come to love every character who is in the book for their different traits. I believe CR is definitely a people watcher because she has her character traits down to a fine art that can only come from observing people and their habits with their attitudes and personalities. I give her props for that. She is very talented and this isn't a book you'd want to pass up.

There is a lot of history between him and Daisy and to get to the truth Daisy must go deep into the secret world of some of the most powerful men in Fort Worth who people see walking around. There is no doubt that there is still a lot of chemistry between Daisy and Eli. Whilst she is trying to solve the case she must decide if she wants to start a affair with Eli and destroy everything she has with Warren.

I received this book for free for an honest review
Wow what can I say so much better this time it actually felt like a story rather than a badly written diary.
Story line was a lot better no where near as much repition and the sex even tho there wasn't as much as the first book was so much better.
In this book we still have the characters from the first as well as the hot Eli , Daisy still gets in to her usual trouble but can she cope with working and having her relationship with warren
Only down fall was you didn't read much of Mac in this one but the bit you did have were brill
Roll on reading the next one.

I enjoyed the book very much. Daisy is a fun character who just can't seem to stay out of trouble while performing her duties as a undercover private investigator. Her old boss Eli has hired the company Daisy works for to help solve a murder of a companion.
Eli seems to want to renew feelings for Daisy but her heart belong to her PI partner Warren.
There are a number of set up circumstances by Eli and misunderstandings for all. There is a lot of action with the investigation and plenty of romance. There are also good secondary characters.

Received an ARC for my honest review.
This second book, picks up the characters' from book 1. We find Daisy who is now in a relationship with Warren off ready to solve another case. They are both working hard, and aren't aware that they are actually working the same case. Since they both are hiding secrets from each other it leads to some very tense and awkward situations. This is another really well written story that dives head first into the crazy world of these characters. I loved ever minute in their world.

Yes! I loved Getting Him Off Secretly!! It hits all the right notes on investigations, drama, sexy scenes! Daisy and Warren are a great compliment to each other. I just love that Daisy is such a strong character. I can't wait for more of this series!! PLEASE let there be more!

This book in the series was better than the first! The plot and and the way it flowed made me not want to put it down! Daisy finds herself in many awkward situations that test the strength of her relationship. Is Warren's love for Daisy strong enough to overcome these situations?m

I absolutely loved this quick entertaining read into Daisy and Warren's next case. Lots of excitement, close calls, and steamy sex. Another great job solving a murder. If you like suspense, fun, and some naughtiness then you will like this.
