Real Estate Uncovered: A Probing Look Behind the Facade of Australia's Property World

Rate this book
Peter O’Malley provided excellent advice to would be sellers and buyers to ensure they get the best price whether they are buying or selling a property. He reveals the industry spin, what all that fancy advertising really means, how over styling your home can actually cost you and how to de-code the convoluted wording used in the marketing blurb.
O’Malley tells would-be-buyers-and-sellers what they should expect from their agent. He details why public auctions so often end in disaster for both buyers and sellers and details of why a silent auction process achieves a much better result. He lists the pitfalls of buying before you sell and discusses the pros and cons of renovating – are you adding value or overcapitalising? And finally, keeping it real – are you being realistic about the price of your property.

This is a must read for buyers and sellers.
Ok. I only read half- the buyers half, but I would read the other half when its time to sell.
