Read this book with my 9th grade girls and it was great. I think it great in dealing with any type of relationship and just being content in where God has you in life.
This book is a guide for Christian dating and the author talks about God's plan for you and how you need to have trust and patience . He tells us about how you should share your faith together to know if you've found the "right one". Lastly, the author shares the three different types of love which are Eros, Phileo, and Agape and their qualities of love.
I didn't choose this book, my mom bought it for me and strongly suggested that I read it! She did probably did because I need better morals and more respect for myself.
The only characters in this book are Bible story characters such as King David, Joseph, Abraham, and Lot. They were very interesting because they helped me learn about God's grace, how and why to forgive, and how to trust God. Sometimes it wasn't very interesting when they talked about the same thing for too long.
My favorite part of the book was when they taught about Agape love and how it was essential in your relationship with anyone because it is real love that is patient, kind, humble, endures, and isn't bitter or jealous. It made me wonder if there was really such a perfect feeling! My least favorite part of the book was when it was boring and I didn't want to read it because it kept referring over and over again a lot to the fact that we need to wait for God's perfect match for you.
It made me want to read something similar to it but more relatable and not so much about old people marriages instead of young people topics. I probably would of liked to read it more if it was more recent.
