This 400-page hardcover book contains 800 photographs and 275 true hunting stories of the biggest deer, elk, moose, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and goats, cougar or mountain lion, pronghorn, and black bear. Hundreds of men, women and teenagers are featured. Chapters cover the care of big game, estimating the size of game in the field, and photographs of special interest. More than 65 historical photographs are included. This is the second edition of a book with the same title that was published in 1983, 1984, 1989 and 1990. The second edition is fully expanded and updated with 500 new photographs and 200 new hunting stories. The exact hunting locations of B&C, P&Y and Longhunter Program trophies are highlighted. Eight World's Records are featured and all animals are from Colorado.
