From there her family moved to Canada, settling in Three Hills, Alberta. Ruth enjoyed her years as a "staff kid" at Prairie and is grateful for the biblical grounding she received there. She now resides close to Glendon (the pyrogy capital of Alberta, Canada) with her husband and five young children. Ruth enjoys writing articles, devotionals, short stories, and Christian fiction. She is a member of The Word Guild and The Christian PEN. Ruth currently serves as the President of InScribe Christian Writers' Fellowship.
Ruth's children have taught her many things about living with special needs. She is a strong advocate and spent several years serving on the local public school board.
Ruth loves her job teaching Music for Young Children. She is fascinated by children's imaginations and enjoys helping young children learn the basics of music through play.

Have you ever wanted to learn about Twitter but had no idea where to start? Ruth L. Snyder explains very simply how to set up an account with photo and bio, how and what to tweet, how often and when the best times are to tweet, how to follow others on Twitter, and how to build relationships with others that will be mutually beneficial.
Learn Twitter is a brief and accessible guide compiled especially for authors. It is interactive, complete with lots of links to full-colour examples of the process, and other helpful resources. The author includes cautions to accompany the Twitter experience, as well as assignments that encourage learners with step-by-step tips to taking off with Twitter.
Whatever your goals for writing, marketing and promotion, these can be achieved and enhanced by Twitter, and Ruth L. Snyder tells you how to do it. Once you’ve completed this beginner’s guide, Ruth has developed a follow-up for intermediate users.

Perfect if you are new to Twitter
When I first started out on Twitter, I really didn't see the point. All my friends were on Facebook, so how was this going to work for me? I learned through experience, but you can get a better head start by reading this book. It's very clear and conversational which is perfect for new users. I will look for the second book since I am interested in digging a little deeper into how Twitter works.

A gentle, concise, practical guide for newbies
