She's told stories and entertained people her entire life. Writing is her favorite because she doesn't have to leave the house or put on pants! Plus, the voices in her head do what she says, for the most part!

She lives in Las Vegas with her husband, Bill and their adopted pooches, Brownie and Cashew. She still teaches cycling classes. She claims they keep her sane-ish!

If you pick up one of her books you're in for a ride full of suspense, twists, humor and page turning drama. Also, there will be a rescue dog for some extra tail wagging fun.

Oh what this has got to be one of the best dedications ever. Loved it 😂.
I was obsessed with this book as soon as I started reading.
I couldn't put it down and I honestly didn't want to.
Some really great characters.
Amazing storyline and I enjoyed every second of this crazy wild ride.
It's one of the books where I really didn't know what was going to happen. I had so many predictions throughout the book and I still didn't guess right. Absolutely recommend this book

Piper has the perfect life - a loving husband, a beautiful new baby girl, a mother-in-law who lives in her guest house, and a housekeeper who is more part of the family than staff. She does need a little help taking care of the new addition named Avery, but being a new mother is hard. The search for the perfect nanny has taken several wrong turns until Lily shows up. She is a natural with Avery and along with her nanny duties, she picks up other chores around the house. However, a series of random accidents rock the family to the core and with the fingers pointing in every direction, is it just bad luck or are past secrets trying to resurface?

This was my first book by this author, but it certainly won’t be my last. The characters are fully formed and I connected with them instantly. I felt like I was at the table having Thanksgiving with them! I loved how there was a tense undercurrent running through the whole story and I found myself distrusting everyone (and I still didn’t figure it all out). I also loved the subtle nod to other thrillers that were slipped into the story.

I will need to check out more! This had me hooked from the start until the climactic ending. If you like your families dripping with secrets and tension, this will be right up your alley! Highly recommend!

Not only is she a great author but one of my favorite to read. She tops the list. This book did not disappoint! This is the 6th book in The Hope Ridge Series! From page one I could not put this down. There were TWO shocking twists that left my mind racing! The first twist hit me like a ton of bricks—I was utterly devastated. And just when I thought I’d caught my breath, there came another twist that had my brain spinning. I was close to the end when I finally deduced who the culprit was, and let me tell you, it felt incredible to figure it out—although a little disappointing, too, because I was wondering, “What’s left to discover?”

But hold on tight! Because the final act of this rollercoaster ride is nothing short of electrifying! ⚡️ POW!!! 💥 I was completely blindsided by the ending!

OK. This. One. Is. AMAZING! If I could give it ten stars, I would! I picked up this domestic suspense thriller expecting it to be like many others, but what I got was something much grittier, more emotional, and way more personal than I could ever have imagined! The Last Nanny is what happens when Rosemary Willhide invites you into a beautifully decorated house for a behind the scenes look at the intimate details of a new mom’s life and the rollercoaster of emotions she is going through–then locks the door behind you leaving you feeling as if you are experiencing everything right along with her.

Piper Young’s life is seemingly perfect from the outsiders perspective. A new mom to an adorable baby girl, a mother-in-law any woman would dream of having that treats you as one of her own, and a best friend who is ready to be by your side through anything! But this picture-perfect home holds a much less than perfect philandering husband who Piper will seemingly never be able to trust to be faithful let alone a partner to rely on for help with their child he insisted on having. Just when things start to appear impossible to manage, in walks Lily Stevens–the nanny every mom dreams of finding. But in this house, nothing is ever that simple.

Willhide immerses you in every moment of Piper’s paranoia, trust issues, and questioning of her own maternal instincts. Every chapter felt like being in a room with the walls slowly closing in on me with tension so thick I felt stuck. Piper, with her slowly unraveling mind, knows something is off, but no one believes her. Heck, she doesn’t even know if she can believe herself.

This isn’t just another domestic thriller–it’s a psychological storm–one that’s deadly. Also, Willhide crafts probably one of the most unique uses of multiple POVs that I’ve seen used in a book yet. If you’ve ever felt like you were one crisis away from falling apart, if you love thrillers with twists, you definitely will never see coming, then this one’s for you. The Last Nanny wasn’t just entertainment for me. Willhide got me. She tapped into emotions I hadn’t even acknowledged yet myself as a recent new mom.

Okay, this one kept me glued to my Kindle. You ever read a thriller and think you’ve got it figured out, only for the author to pull the rug out from under you? That was me... multiple times. The Last Nanny had more twists than a theme park ride, and every single one of them hit hard.

The pacing? Fast. Like, blink-and-you-miss-it fast. I flew through the pages because I had to know what was going on. The writing style felt sharp and effortless. It pulled me right into this coastal mansion full of secrets, and I couldn’t get out (not that I wanted to).

There were just enough suspicious characters to keep me guessing, but not so many that it got confusing. I kept changing my mind about who to trust. I loved that this book never slowed down. The tension just kept building with every chapter.

Bottom line? It’s a nonstop, edge-of-your-seat read. If you’re into psychological thrillers that make you feel like you’re piecing together a real-life mystery, this one's a must.

This one would be perfect for fans of fast-paced psychological thrillers with missing-person mysteries and a dose of domestic suspense. Add it to your TBR, you’ll thank me later.

The Last Nanny by Rosemary Willhide
I was fortunate enough to be a beta reader for this story, so I saw it develop into the masterpiece it is now. And I have to say, this might be some of Rosemary’s best work.

This plot is diabolical. The twists and turns and the way suspicion falls on all of these characters are devious. I liked Piper a lot. She was getting her spunk back after having a baby, and she was ready to make big decisions. I hated Trey; he was just an ass. But Rosemary can write these characters with such pristine talent, and she weaves them into her stories beautifully.

I loved how this story was told in three parts from three perspectives. It was brilliantly executed and masterfully delivered, and the plot flowed seamlessly. I was so excited to read this completed novel.

Something I love about Rosemary is that she writes engaging, fast-paced short chapters, so flying through her books is easy. This story sucked me in, and I could not find safe places to pause—I sat in my car after work to finish the chapter I was reading. I couldn’t drive with the unfinished situation!

The Hope Ridge series is so good. Every installation is unique, dark, twisted, and addictive. This book is among excellent company. I have dubbed this the summer of thrillers, and The Last Nanny is very much a delicious devious part of that.

One narrator was simply not enough for this wickedly delicious thriller. Four parts, four narrators, and one shockingly femme fatale who will give you the willies… but also demand your respect.

Another standalone in Rosemary Willhide’s HOPE RIDGE series, THE LAST NANNY, throws us into the seemingly perfect world of Piper and Trey Young of The Heights (the bougie neighborhood in their small town, Hope Ridge). What could they possibly have to worry about?

What, with their dashing looks (they’re referred to as the L.L. Bean cover couple after all) their gorgeous estate, and a housekeeper who can whip up a mean dish of scallops? The grass sure seems green on their lawn.

But as they struggle to find the perfect nanny for their darling babe, one has to wonder…is Hope Ridge not the quaint and safe town it appears to be? Is Trey’s infidelity just the tip of a much darker iceberg? And what about the live-in grandmother who feels like the love child of Emily Gilmore and a Black Widow?

Including cameos from other Hope ridge faves - Brownie being the best - (and fair warning…things will be spoiled if you haven’t read the earlier books) Willhide starts with a slow burn, but proves her literary prowess yet again as she picks up the pace in a way that’ll have you ditching your responsibilities (sorry, laundry!) and muttering “just one more chapter…” until it’s suddenly 2 a.m.

THE LAST NANNY murders its way onto shelves July 11th. Don’t sleep on it or the underrated Willhide.

ARC review: Big thanks to the author for letting me be an arc reader! I’ve loved the hope ridge thrillers she previously wrote, and this one did not disappoint! I had some suspicions as the story went on, but most of it, I had not figured out at all! So I loved the little twists towards the end and seeing how everything came together! - Piper is struggling with depression/baby blues after having had her first child, dealing with an elderly mother-in-law, a husband with a wandering eye and no desire to help with the baby’s care. Thankfully they are wealthy enough to afford a housekeeper and a nanny. But there’s been problems with the nanny’s… Piper is hoping that with Lily, she’s found the perfect nanny finally. But things seem off when Lily meets Miranda, the mother-in-law and when she see’s Piper’s husband. And then bad things start to happen. Are they tragic accidents? Or does it have to do with Lily’s presence in the house? A family on the verge of falling apart, a nanny with secrets, and of course everyone has something to hide. - Content includes death/murder/ cheating spouse/postpartum depression/narcissistic characters/brief mention of attempted SA/brief mention of homosexuality.

What can I really say? I already knew that this book was going to be good before I even read a blurb, Rosemary Willhide has been an automatic click for me for a long time. And there is a very good reason for that.....she knocks it out of the park every single time!!

I took my time reading this one because I wanted to savor every page, I couldn't wait to find out what happened while at the same time I didn't want it to end.

I was kept on the edge of my seat all the way to the end, which left me stunned.

Looks can be decieving looking on from the outside.. what seems perfect is far from it when it comes to Piper and her loving family.
There are so many twist and turns in this thriller/cosy mystery and I loved every second of it!
Rosemary is the Queen of mystery novels which keep you guessing until the very end and then just for fun she ends on another banger you don't see coming.

This is another outstanding thriller by Rosemary Willhide. I really enjoyed this one, and was shocked by the multiple twists!

This is by far the absolute best book that Rosemary Willhide has written. It was full of twists and turns and even the best sleuth will never be able to predict what is going to happen over the course of the story,

The ending was genius. I never expected that twist. Outstanding.

I was hooked from the very first page and found it impossible to put down. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Do not miss out. Rosemary Willhide is a gifted author. I look forward to her next book.

Jaw dropping twists

Great story. There's jaw dropping twists in every chapter. There's mid blowing moments in the last several chapters. Just when you think you got something figured out it's not as it seems. It's a quick easy read.
