Last Shift in Flint Hollow: A Laura Beckett Mystery
The sheriff is dead. The town is full of secrets. And the woman taking his place may be the only one willing to uncover them.
Deputy Laura Beckett has spent sixteen years serving the people of Flint Hollow, a quiet Appalachian town where everyone knows everyone—and some secrets are better left buried.
When Sheriff Tom Grady is found dead in his own home, Laura is thrust into a position she never asked for. The scene looks peaceful. There's no sign of a struggle. No forced entry.
But something doesn't add up.
As Laura begins asking questions, she discovers that the man she trusted may have known more about Flint Hollow's darker side than he ever let on. And the closer she gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to know whom she can trust.
In a town where loyalty runs deep and the past never stays buried, Laura must decide how far she's willing to go to uncover the truth.
Because in Flint Hollow, the most dangerous secrets are the ones everyone knows to keep.
Last Shift in Flint Hollow is the first book in the Laura Beckett Mysteries, a series of atmospheric small-town crime mysteries featuring a determined, seasoned law enforcement officer, complicated loyalties, and secrets hidden in the Appalachian mountains.
