A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.

My pets...
I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.

What I'm working on...
I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

Feral Undaunted by Renée Jaggér and Michael Anderle delivers an energetic blend of science fiction, military action, and fast-paced adventure. With its engaging world-building, high-stakes conflicts, and determined characters, the novel offers an exciting experience for readers who enjoy action-driven speculative fiction.

One of the book's strongest qualities is its relentless pacing. From the opening chapters, the story maintains a strong sense of momentum, balancing action sequences with character development and steadily expanding the larger universe. The narrative continually raises the stakes, keeping readers invested in both the immediate conflicts and the broader mission.

The protagonists demonstrate resilience, courage, and adaptability in the face of overwhelming challenges. Their determination to confront danger while protecting those around them creates an emotional anchor beneath the novel's action-oriented surface. Team dynamics, loyalty, and mutual trust further strengthen the story, making the victories feel earned and the risks genuinely meaningful.

The world-building is another highlight. Advanced technology, dangerous adversaries, and a carefully constructed futuristic setting combine to create an immersive backdrop that supports the story's action without overwhelming it with excessive technical detail. The balance between accessible storytelling and imaginative science-fiction concepts allows readers to quickly become invested in the unfolding adventure.

Beyond its thrilling action, Feral Undaunted explores themes of perseverance, leadership, sacrifice, teamwork, courage, and the determination to overcome impossible odds. These themes add emotional weight to the narrative while complementing its high-energy pacing.

For readers who enjoy military science fiction, action-packed adventures, futuristic warfare, strong ensemble casts, and immersive speculative worlds, Feral Undaunted delivers an entertaining and satisfying reading experience.

Another fun time is had by all - well, except the bad guys. A new character enters and impacts the entire team and the people in the city. Mairi takes a leap of faith in her career and changes will occur. The team faces a few old enemies as well as one really big new opponent. The book ends with a bit of a hook concerning Sidney and his career. This continues to be a fun series with fun characters and lots of creative twists and turns. I look forward to book 7.

Exciting Adventure with a side of caustic dust

Once again, the authors have succeeded in entertaining me. I can never get enough of this world. I was so excited when the first book came out regarding Tetra. Her personality and antics really hold up in this series. I love that you don’t change her. You just improve her. Every series adjacent to this one really shows the love for community, friendship and growth. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to read more.

good

I wasn’t as fond of this book as I have been with other books in this series. There is a lot of action, but it is still kind of slow. Apparently there is a talent show that Mary is involved in, a troll that is trying to start a restaurant in the Dutchie, and they are still trying to find frostbite. I feel that most of the action occurred at the end of the book. I will still read the books in the series.

Just an Awesome series

I cannot wait for the next book in this series! All of the books I have read by Renee Jagger have wrung all my emotions dry, have kept my interest from beginning to end, and have made me wait impatiently for her next book. Her characters and storylines are the best!

Hard choices

Great story and satisfying conclusion. The instant orc army was a bit over the top but so is everything about Tetra and her found friends and family. Very fun if nerve wracking at times.

well done series

I’m enjoying this series, well writer and fun. The paranormal characters are wacky but heartfelt, thoroughly engaging. The books simply flow into one another.
