having gotten this book with NO CLUE what educational path i wanted to take to become a therapist, i was best served by meeting with psychologists, social workers and psychotherapists to figure out the best path for me. there are numerous other programs outside of graduate school, such as psychoanalytic institutes, which are worth exploring but not mentioned in this book. seriously, save your money and network through open houses/psychologists you know for the best real-world advice.
