I am really enjoying learning about new ways of birth. Having had two very different birth experiences, I know that labor and delivery can be pretty crummy or really amazing. I am always looking for ways to improve. This book is maybe a little too into visualization for me, but maybe I should give it a try. I picture myself giving birth next time in just under 2 hours...I'll work really hard on this mental picture over the next year or so and let you know how it turns out. =]

Positive outlook on birth and how visualization and communicating with baby in utero can impact the experience. Promotes natural labor & delivery, but accepting of mother's choice to use anesthesia. Pretty quick read.

A great book for people who are new to the idea of natural birth. Very basic with a lot of information about the power of unmeasurable things like love and a positive attitude. This book was a bit outdated, but still some really good info.
