K. Elliott aka The Well Fed Black Writer, published his first novel, Entangled, in 2003. Although he was offered multiple signing deals, Elliott decided he had what it took to self-publish. With that, he founded Urban Lifestyle Press, printed his own books and went to work. Bookstore by bookstore, street vendor by street vendor, Elliott took to the road selling his story. His work did not go unnoticed as he sold 50,000 units in his first year and made the Essence Magazine Bestsellers list. Since Entangled, Elliott has published five titles of his own and two on behalf of authors signed to Urban Lifestyle Press. For one book, The Ski Mask Way, Elliott was selected to co-author with hip-hop superstar 50 Cent. Along the way, he has continued to look for innovative ways to push his books to his fans while keeping down his overhead. Not wanting to keep the finding of such valuable experiences to himself, Elliott did two things. First, in 2010 he forged his vision of low-cost publishing by founding 21 Black Street, an eBookstore to mirror a traditional African-American themed book store - accept it could totally cuts out printing costs. Not stopping there, Elliott created the Well-Fed Black Writer, a blog for authors to find life-hacking tips for more efficient, effective self-publishing. Now through podcasts, video and blog posts, Elliott is able to reach anyone interested tips that lead to efficient, cost effective self-publishing success.
I read this book in one day That's how good it is. but I hate reading the King Pin Wifeys series because it leaves me wondering I be so mad because I wanna know what happen next. Lol can't wait til book 8 comes out. :)
This is an amazing series. The continued ball of confusion that the characters can't seem to get out of. Black is in way over his head, Shantelle is worse than the Baby Momma, Jada, Shamari, and Craig are in too deep, and Lani and Starr are riding the waves. I can't wait for Part 8 to drop but then I don't want the series to end. Author Kevin Elliott has taking you to a whole another level with this series. It relatable and couldn't be penned by a better person. I can spoil the series but telling you everything but it's best you one-click and download all 7 e-books before part 8 drops so you can see what's all the KingPin Wifey Hype is all about.
I don't usually read a series past 4 but this one has reached 7 and when I say "Enough is Enough!" please take my word for it. You can tell the author just threw this 92 page book together without even looking at it a 2nd time. The 1st chapter, not only does the paragraphs run into each other but they repeat, it throws you off and then the story just goes around and around and around in a circle. Very disappointed in this one, I've read much by K.Elliott but this is not his best work at all. As much as I would like to know the ending to this series, this is where i will end it. I cannot recommend this as a good read.
I really enjoyed this series, the characters are good but on the real tip why does it always has to be continued? We don't like having to keep buying another book it's ok to make the price be higher if we could get more for the money. When I first got my Kindle K. Elliott was one of the first authors I started reading but this 5,6,7 and so on is a bit to much for me. Ijs
Book 7 one of the best out of the entire series. Jada got herself all mixed up here and can't see her left from her right. This read continued where part 6 left off and truly gave some major action. A must read. Looking forward to the finale!
K.Elliott has done it again. This book was just as good as the other six. I'm anxiously dreading the finale because it leaves you wanting to read more about Star, Lani, and Jada and their callers in their life and the drama that comes along with it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There is so much going on here and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see how this will end but then I'll have to find another book by this author. He's my new fav. If you like nonstop drama, read this series.
They are strong women. I'm proud of Starr starting her own business. I don't agree with what Jada is doing with big papa and Lani has to find a career to get her mind off of Black
Once again Jada and her thirsty behind is out for someone's money. I thought Trey was gonna be faithful this time around, I believed him right along with Starr. Loni has gotten caught up in Blacks mess from Chris's murder. What else can go wrong? Waiting to read part 6
I truly enjoyed this book, the story line was intriguing. Jada is all about that Dollar bill, willing to do anything to get it. Black, what can I say, he is a true Boss. Getting ready for next book. Holla!
so overall this part was good EXCEPT chapter 5 which was a totally repeat of a previous chapter in another book. There were a few grammatical mistakes which should have been taken care of before this book was released, but besides that it was a good read
This book was cray. These damn couples are crazy they all need some help.I wish they would get their shit together soon before they all end up dead or in jail.Cant wait for book 8
