Kinda like that first sip of hot chocolate or fresh brewed coffee
Adam Houge writes straight forward with grace and love. His writing isn't elementary or simple, but you do not need a dictionary to understand it. This book is backed with scripture throughout and not just referenced but included in the text. A challenging read but comforting as well. Its kinda like that first sip of hot chocolate or fresh brewed coffee, inviting you in to learn.

This book is a short journey through the principles of the Christian life. Maybe some of them you already knew, but it's never a bad idea to recap something that can help you.
As the book sustains, the Christian life is challenging and mostly unexpected, but the best and the only way to handle it would be by surrendering our hearts to the Father. Some quotes that I liked from the book:
❤️ “When we learn to rest and abide continually in the Holy Spirit, however, our desires conform to God’s desires.”
❤️ “What is the furthest thing from sin? God, no doubt. So to where do you run when you’re tempted? To the Lord! Run into your Daddy’s arms, and He will make it better. Don’t stand there fighting”
❤️ “God has both a daily plan and an ultimate plan.”
❤️ “God created you to have meaning, and there is a reason for you that is beyond your comprehension.”
The book contains many more inspired quotes, ideas that you the next reader will dig for them. I highly recommend this book to anyone who struggles or not in their lives to read it with prayer, in faith.

This is my second book by Adam Houge and it was again mind-blowing awsome.
I am so glad I found this book per chance for free and grabed without knowing the author yet.
Surrender under Gods will is a really difficult topic (at least for me) and the authors faces it in an blut but still very helpful way. I'm so glad the style was not judgementtal or hurtful but rather supportive firm and encourages to live closer to God. The author quotes many Bible verses and explains those very well.
I had the impression there were no unnecessary words and so I'm still struggling to grasp all I read in this very short (only 41 pages) but meaningful book. I'm not sure I could deal with much more and plan to re-read this book and use it as an additional help for my personal Bible study.
Now I'm looking forward to read much more by this this author.

Very Inspiring
Knowing that we have to surrender to ourselves in order for God to do what He needs to do in our lives, but the key word is surrender or die to our desires. This book speaks clearly enough, once we surrender ourselves to God, God will begin to move in us! Thank you God for Adam!

I have enjoyed using this book as part of my daily devotions. I try to include one of Adam Houge's books as part of my devotions! I love the way he writes! His books always touch my heart!

I would recommend this book because it presents a clear explanation of surrender. God's will vs.self will illustrated by who's heart determines your path.

I have read several of his books. They've all amazing. This one did not disappoint. He's an amazing author and feel his lobe for the gospel with each book I read.

Surrender
This book is a must read. And then it is a must read again! And again! And then, every chapter should lead you to a prayer of repentance and thanksgiving to Father God for allowing Adam Houge to pen His heart with such conviction and using the Word of God to cover every chapter.

Pretty interesting
I really enjoy how the Lord has blessed Adam Houge in his writing. This book will cause you to really see how you CAN do ALL things through Christ Jesus. It is very simple reading but good.
