The city isn t big enough for Danny AND Stacks and when it all comes to a head, a surprise third party will decide which one lives and which one meets their maker.
This book was rough for me and I like some urban fiction. Man the grit in this book and the antagonist is no JOKE! Great read and if you are a C.J. Hudson fan, The Shakedown doesn't disappoint.
I enjoyed this read. In true C.J. Hudson fashion, it was non stop action from beginning to end. You are entertained by the various characters as well as curious to read how their lives will intertwine with each other. Fans of the keyboard assassin can count on a fast pace, intriguing read. When it comes to writing, C.J. Hudson is in a league of his own. As he continues to step out of the box with different scenarios, I will be right there to enjoy his fruits of labor.
Its a page turner! I couldn't put it down! Loved it from beginning to end! There wasn't a dry moment in the book! If you're looking for a good Hood book then look no further! The shakedown is it!!
