Love the community element of these books and the characters of each dog! Loved the first book, but this one seemed lacking a touch.
The killer having split personality seems overdone and a little predictable - also not great for the reputation of mental health conditions.
I was left with quite a few questions that didn’t get answered but the overall story was tied up fairly neatly (aside from the split personality issue).
Concept has so much more potential, will read the next one, just hoping for a little more from the ending next time.

A group of friends become involved in a case when a homeless man is found dead in the playground of their local park.
Written with plenty of plot twists and quirky engaging characters this cosy crime mystery gave much to enjoy. It was an entertaining read though the ending seemed a bit abrupt for my liking.

I absolutely love this cosy crime series where the unique personalities of the dogs make them the outstanding characters in the novels.
Delivered by the dogs’ owners, the short chapters from multiple points of view make this a fast moving and fun story.
