Him
I get to wake up every day and live my dream. I’m a farrier by day at Kannon Ridge Rodeo Company and by night, I’m on stage playing to massive rodeo crowds. I get to play music with my best friends and draw massive crowds but still wake up Monday morning and live a normal life.
Or at least, that’s how it used to be. But the bigger our following gets, the crazier the fan girls get. Between dodging stage rushing soccer moms, sweaty bras being pelted at me, and shrieks so loud I can’t even hear my own band – the dream is getting harder to enjoy these days.
But I just so happen to have the perfect solution and it comes in the form of my five-foot tall, mean as a badger, fireball of a best friend. But can I convince her to go along with it without turning what’s left of the dream into an even bigger nightmare?

I can spot a good-minded horse a mile away but apparently only have an eye for the worst men. Another failed situationship and another name to add to the list of ‘should have known betters’.
But that’s not what’s getting to me – it’s everyone thinking I’m heartbroken and crying myself to sleep over it. I don’t want your pity, I knew exactly how this was going to go just like I do with everything in my life. If you stay on the sidelines, you never lose.
Okay, fine. You still lose but at least you don’t get your hopes up about winning, right? I stay in my mildly disappointing little bubble of comfort and it works for me. That is until my best friend comes up with a hair brained idea to ‘fix’ our problems…

Tears after tears after heart dropping twist. Oh my word!
The spice is spicy, you fall in love with characters you would’ve never thought you’d fall in love with…. UGHHH I NEED MORE!
I also love that I have no clue who the next book will be about. Wren you’re a rock star ⭐️

Fake Dating with all the banter and conflict in all the right places. The chemistry was off the charts and the third act drama had Easter eggs spread throughout the entire book that came together in a big way. Just the right amount of spice not to distract from the story and the happy ending we all need.

LOVED THIS BOOK!! The FMC and MMC are perfect for each other! I also appreciate that there is NO 3rd act breakup. This is a book I would reread, I loved it that much!
