Jade Two weeks ago I thought the worst was over. Now, I’m trapped in a cage and a woman I never knew existed has taken over my life.
Aiden Two weeks ago I began to lose the girl I loved. Something had changed in her, and no matter how much I didn’t want to believe it, the reality was that Jade was turning into the monster she feared she would become.
Angel Jade never knew I existed, and now she is going to pay for it.
I found this an incredibly difficult book to read. There were grammar and spelling errors and the plot dragged incredibly. I did like how it was split into three different POVs - Jade, Angel and Aiden. Angel was particularly interesting as it showed what she was thinking, and she is much more interesting than Jade.
Angle figured she could keep Jade locked up like their father did to her only to learn that she had made one major mistake. How will Jade take down her twin sister that she never knew about and will she be able to protect herself and her family. More twist in this story that I was not expecting to happen. The Evolution Series is one you don't want to miss when checking out indie authors. Lots of action throughout the series that keeps you wanting more and more..... Kelly Carrero is one amazing writer and she keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.
Excellent story, glad everything works out for Jade in the end, and I am pleased with how the story is heading. I suck for a happy ending, so I do hope Angel will get one for herself too.
One final book to read, hoping that Jade can pull off the best solution to the problems in their hands. The issues with Angel, the government, and also helping the rest of the captured next-gen. If it's not too much to ask, please fix the relationship with Georgia, too 😅.
Starting off book 6 I was a little skeptical. First off I wasn't sure how much I liked the idea of angel's character. Then, there was the chapters from different peoples perspectives. It was different from previous books, but it worked and there were about 10 more chapters than usual which I loved. Overall a great continuation of the series!
This series has been difficult to read at times. It's the kind of story that keeps you guessing, and yet is very intriguing. and you can't wait to find out what is going to happen next. If you like a good who did it this one is for you.
For years there have been superior mankind. This book entertained the very real possibility of similar events in the world. Who is to say it may or may not someday become a reality?
Angel is quite the character. Reeking havoc on everyone Jade loves. I love the way this book shows the unbelievable bond between a mother and child even before birth. Can wait to see how Jade protects her family,
I didn't enjoy this as much as the others, still an amazing series, but the flipping around of pov isn't my favorite writing style. Other than that it was good.
Loved this entire series. It kept me from start to finish for them all. Completely love the whole family. Completely messed up and all made it all that more enjoyable and enthralling.
When a child is raised by an evil parent and kept hidden from the world then the results end up being catastrophic. There are some real-life cases where an identical twin takes the place of the known individual. Why? For power, greed, revenge and many other reasons. It's rising up to fight that makes a difference between loving families and destroying enemies. Now the Next-Gens are exposed and an evil one wants power. A good story all together. Make sure to read from the beginning to understand the whole thing.
This whole series is so full of twists and turns that the books are hard to put down. I have read all six books in less than a week. I love all the characters and their closeness to one another. Being somewhat of a Pollyanna, I'm hoping that Angel will do something to redeem herself. In the meantime, you go Jade.
I was really looking forward to this book. But all the setup for a Jade/Angel meeting was for nought. In the end I was disappointed by this book, too much transitional content and setup for another book.
