Although this is a little simple and a little old fashioned, especially in the illustrations department, it's still a huge hit in our house. Sharing and taking away toys from siblings is a BIG issue in our family and it's something all my little ones can relate to. My now 5 yr old son loved this as a toddler, and now my 3 yr old twins absolutely adore it. They like it so much, and know it so well from many readings, that they read it to each other. And if you know anything about 3 yr olds, they don't have the biggest vocabulary and so it's very cute to see them try and relay a story out loud. This makes it a big favorite with me as well, besides the fact that it teaches a good lesson on sharing.

My brother made us all read this book to him repeatedly when he was very small. We can all still recite the entire thing from memory. I want to punch Nicholas and Megan in their fat faces.
