Will life ever get back to normal after I start having children? What are some valid reasons for choosing to be a full-time homemaker? How can my husband and I keep the romance in our marriage? How can I give a good start to my day? How can I cope with the messes that seem to come with a family? How can I contribute to the family budget? Most emphatically, the author states, "Yes! There is life after birth!" And it's a life that's full and rewarding.

Baadsgaard is a top quality person with a genuine heart and a great sense of humor. Her book made me feel better about some of the mothering challenges; it felt like she totally related...and I cried. I remember her saying how she had to pray to help her enjoy her responsibilities even though she wasn't getting any sleep and had so much stress. She started cherishing the moments that had stressed her before.
Surprisingly insightful book. I admit I was skeptical (the title doesn't help) when someone gave me their well-loved copy, but it was smart, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. I identified with the author.
