Veldig spesielt skrevet.

The story about a homosexual relationship between the Norwegian explorer and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Fridtjof Nansen and his fellow explorer Hjalmar Johansen. The problem with this book is that although the people were real, the relationship was not. Faction at its worst, but not badly written. The book is almost too short to be called a novel.

I really wanted to enjoy this book. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing, mostly due to the unwieldy style and the strange mixture of introspection and vagueness.
Maybe the translation is also to blame, but I couldn’t quite get into it.
