I was talking to a friend about how I read poetry, and I said that I needed to feel it in my body. This is a stunning collection of poems that you feel in your entire being. She is able to give a voice to the tenderness and vulnerability of what I means to be a woman. And I see her, with tears running down my cheeks I see her.

This collection was so mesmerizing that I couldn’t put it down. Buckle up because you will be sent on a journey from laughter to tears. Her word choice and flow is so conversational you feel like you’re chatting with your best friend. I can’t wait to read her next book!

Phenomenal, heart-wrenching, cathartic cries all the way through. Rowe takes us on a journey of catharsis: love, anger, frustration, helplessness, and joy. A must read for anyone whose life has taken odd turns and hard roads.

We had the lovely experience of hosting Rowe this past Monday in our little book store. Body of Work may not mirror every reader’s story, but it reaches into something universal — resilience, grief, tenderness, and the quiet ways we rebuild.

Such a moving, vulnerable, and beautifully honest collection — that invites you to sit with your own truths, a read that lingers long after the last page.

A beautiful collection of poems that share intimate, painful, scary, and raw moments. Rowe’s word choice and flow mimic so many personal conversations that we all wish we were brave enough to have.

Astoundingly honest and relatable. A beautiful tribute to the pain of being a female with empathy and knowledge.
